Awesome straps
The straps came in very quick and I like the leather material to the strap. I put them on my daughters track bike and she likes the way they feel. Very easy to put on existing pedals and quick to adjust. I like there design.

Far better than the price might have you believe
I’ve had many, MANY brands of pedal straps (Fyxation, State, Throne, etc.), and I was looking for a new set to put on a new bike, but I didn’t have a ton of cash to throw around. Found these Fat Cookie straps quite by accident, and I figured I’d give them a shot...color me impressed. The faux-leather is super-durable, and the straps are about .5-1” thinner than most other straps I’ve tried, which is a plus for me. I’ve got two sets now - one on a State Black Label fixed gear and one on a 29” Throne FGFS, and, other than the normal breaking in, the ONLY negative thing that I can say is that the side buckle is a bit larger than on other straps, and that takes a bit of getting used to if you’re used to straps with a smaller side buckle. All of this in mind, I would recommend these to anyone in need of pedal straps, and do so without hesitation.

Strong straps, but don’t hold shape
I’ve been using these for a few months now, and they work great. Strong, and the Velcro is fine. But the buckle part of the strap makes it so they flop and don’t hold a rigid shape. They’re kind of difficult to get your feet into as a result. I can just get my toe into one and then have to reach down and put the strap over the rest of my shoe once riding, which isn’t super easy to do while riding fixed gear. But they have held up great and I slide a lot.

Gotta Learn to Use 'Em
These are floppy straps that won't just hold themselves up for you to slide your foot into. At first I thought I was installing them wrong or maybe this brand just wasn't any good, but then I saw a post from a nice bloke on a forum that read: "Gotta learn to use 'em like we all did."So I accepted that challenge. I can put them on easily now, though I have no idea whether I'm doing it the "right way", but yeah, there's some learning involved.Once I got it down, I found I purchased a sick, burly pair of straps to help keep my feet on my fixie. Solid product, well worth the money.

They fit big feet, could be more rigid.
I wanted to try these straps on my hardtail 29er that I use for dirt and road riding. as they were way cheaper than going the clipless route. Being a large fella with size 15 shoes, I was a little concerned about fitment but everything went great!Since buying them, I've only ridden about 15-20 miles but they appear to be of good quality and I'm hopeful that they will last.My only complaint about the straps is that the sides are flimsey and there is no structure, which makes it a pain to get your toes in. I usually have to backpedal one foot to the top of the crank lean down and loop the strap over my toes, then start riding and then do it with the other foot. It's fine for road riding, but makes me hesistant to try these out in the dirt. If they can make the sides a lite more rigid, it would be 5 stars.

they’re great
they work perfectly. construction is solid, made in the usa and comes with a cool sticker.i’ve put a few hundred miles in wearing these and after the first couple rides i’ve gotten extremely comfortable in them.they can be awkward to a beginner, just remember to take your time and play it safe when starting our.ALWAYS have a bail out plan in an emergency.

Terrible
Couldn’t get my foot into the straps. Not the product for me. I was looking for something easy to slip my foot into. Tried several different shoes, none worked. Clipless pedals work so much better.

Good idea but straps are not rigid enough.
I appreciate the concept behind this product, which is why I purchased them, but after 45 minutes of trying to install I gave up. The straps collapse on the pedal so it becomes difficult to insert your foot into them. I tried every way possible to get the strap to remain open when my foot was not inserted but to no avail. I can’t imagine trying to get my foot back in the strap at a street light because of the collapsed strap. Quality appears to be good but I don’t know how long the straps would last from me fighting to insert my shoe each time. To be fair to the manufacturer, there are a lot of different pedal designs out there so trying to create a one size fits all product is likely impossible. The manufacturer should make the entire pedal assembly with the strap integrated into the pedal to ensure the straps remain rigid and open to reinsert your foot as needed. I returned since they don’t appear to function as advertised and seem unsafe to me. Ended up purchasing pedals with toe cages and straps that remain open when foot is not inserted. Much more satisfied with that design.
