I bought the wrong size, I needed the one for a 5 quart bowl. I did purchase it as well.It works as it’s supposed to. Does a good job scraping, mixing at the bottom.I have a Kitchen Aid. It fits well enough to work but it does come unhooked from the mixer easily. Just keep an eye on it and it works fine especially for the price.

edited: Does not fit the metal tulip bowl of my KP26M1X mixer.
I previously wrote how this did not fit my 6 qt bowl for my PRO600 mixer. I found out that this will not fit the tulip bowl that came with it from QVC. This however will fit the straight sided standard bowl.

Works well but keep an eye on coating coming off
First let me start by saying this mixer blade works well and seems to hold up better in the long term compared to others out there. However, it does have a flaw and after 18 months I ordered a new one due to it. The coating/paint on the mixer paddle does get fatigued and starts to come off. Water also finds a way somehow under it and causes it to “bubble” and when we “popped” the bubble had water come out. Even through this says it’s dishwasher safe I’d recommend against it due to the water potentially getting under the coating and bubbling it up which can lead to the coating falling off during use when the bubble breaks.Photos are of a new blade versus an old blade. The coating feels different on the newer one versus the older one so I’m hopeful this one holds up better. Mixer is used 2 or more times a month with this blade so would like the coating to holds up better.

Poor Kitchpower Quality Control Can Burn Out Your Motor or Damage Your Gears
I have a new KP26M1X 6 quart mixer (Pro 600) which is explicitly listed as compatible. My mixer works flawlessly with the OEM metal beater and OEM bowl. Because many reviews for "flex edge" beaters mention people damaging the motor or gears in their unit, I was sure to check how much contact the silicone edge has with the bowl itself. The silicone edge of the beater is 9cm and extends 4.5cm PAST the bowl edge so the silicon flexes in half. I expect this is why there are many reviews showing the silicone edge ripped clean off the metal frame of the beater.I used the bowl height adjust screw on my mixer to see if less contact with the bowl edge was possible. Made no difference in my case. I assumed that kind of contact with bowl and flex of the silicone edge was by design. I gave it whirl with 3 cups of peanut butter batter. I knew I had a problem as soon as my blender reached speed 3 as my blender motor made an obvious ill squealing noise. Interestingly, in my case the squealing was near imperceptible at all other speeds.I switched back to the OEM metal beater and the motor ran quiet like normal. When I compared the OEM blade vs this Kitchpower blade I noticed the shaft mounting hole on the Kitchpower wasn't machined as precisely as the OEM beater so it's not as firmly in place. There was perhaps and extra mm of space in Kitchpower's drilled out hole. That allows more rocking of the beater head which means it swings further to the bowl edge. Not good. The only way I could get this beater to work so that my mixer motor wouldn't make an awful noise was to meticulously use a razor blade to shave down the silicone edge until it abutted the sides of the mixing bowl without actually making so much contact as to FLEX the silicone edge from contact with the bowl.Flex edge beaters are wonderful for light batters, yet Kitchpower needs to more precisely machine the shaft and silicone edge on their product to not damage mixers.

Mixer Balde
Well made. Better than the original that came with the mixer.

This beater is excellent! It gets to the side of the bowl and eliminates stopping to scrape. Highly recommend

Great beater for the price
I bought one of these five years ago. It has lasted all this time longer than my silicone spatulas. I am ordering another one now because finally after all these years, the silicone start to peel off the side. All silicone eventually will wear overtime so I don’t look at this as a fault. It fit perfectly on my 6 quart bowl. And for the price I can order one now and one in five years and it will still cost less than some of the more expensive ones on here, and work just as well. And I am a HEAVY BAKER!
