Love this charger
I had to replace an old charger that I had for years and after reading some reviews and looking into many others I decided on the D6 Duo Pro. it has some unique features that add a little extra to a very well built charger. It allows you to charge 2 batteries at the same time with different settings customized for each one. I have used it on my 1 cell, 3 cell and 4 cell batteries. I like how it has the balance port built in, but if you choose you can use an external Parallel Charging Board which I have seen some other people doing. But for me having the ability to charge two batteries at the same time is all I need. The first thing I did when it arrived was update the firmware and then gave it a try. I like how all the setting can be done by pressing the small rolling switch and then choosing your specific settings for each battery. the display is very easy to read and if you are charging two at the same time the screen will split. Here are a few of the extra perks that come with this charger. The first is wireless charging should you have a smart phone that can take advantage of this, and it just so happened I replaced my old phone with the iPhone 11 so I gave it a try while I was charging my battery and learning more about this charger. It worked great and was the first time I ever charged my phone without a cord :-) all you do is set it on top and it does the rest. You also have a USB 5v plug on the side so you can take your charging cord and use it to charge your phone the normal way. Another feature that is nice if you are out in the field is the ability to plug a DC source into the back of the charger and charge your batteries in the field. I have not tested this but in the future if I do I will update you. All in all I am happy with my purchase and having something that not only works well but look great on my work station makes this a good buy. Amazon has taken away the photo and video options for the time being so I cant post any photos or do a video review to let you see it closer but there are some you can see if you search or look at others here. I do hope this helps a little if you are considering buying from this company. I have purchased other products from this company over the past few years and have been happy with their support. I did just buy one of their 4s batteries as some of mine are getting to that replace point in time and was very impressed with how well they put them together and even more how well it worked in my small racer. Wishing you the best and please stay safe Grandpajake

A great charger with great features!
I love this little charger! its features, its output power and its size. I got it to replace a 6 amp charger that would quickly become underpowered when I was using a parallel board. The D6 will go up to around 12 amps when using AC and 15 amps when using a DC power supply (being that the power supply can handle the amp draw). One of the things I love about the D6 is while you're charging batteries you can flip through the charging screens to read different information about the batteries and the charger. So if you suspect one of your batteries is starting to die just go through the screen till you see the resistance of the individual cells. I had a questionable battery that wasn't lasting nearly as long as the others so I checked the resistance with the D6 charger and 3 cells were 4.5 to 5 ohms and the forth cell was 16 ohms! It's not uncommon for the resistance of a battery to change as it's charging or ages but the resistance of all the cells should be similar, now I have confirmation to replace the battery. The screen is bright, clear and easy to navigate how ever one thing that concerns me is it's really easy to press against the screen when plugging stuff in and out and the clear cover over the LCD is thin enough that even a very slight push will effect the LCD (same effect if you push on a computer monitor) and I take extra caution to not touch it now. I would like to see a better cover for the screen but it's no way a deal breaker just something to be cautious of. I have included pictures of the three different charging screens. Another feature I like is that the screen goes green when the battery is safe to use again and it goes blue once its fully charged and balanced. Once it's done charging the charger will continue to make the cells more and more in balanced (down to 0.000 of a volt!) The wireless charging is a nice bonus if you're out on the field or in your shop working it's nice to lay your phone down and have it topped off. Also with the 2 amp USB port on the side you could use that to charge your phone faster or use it like I do to charge your GoPro. Updating the firmware was a breeze, the whole process including searching and downloading of the software on to my computer took a total of 4 to 5 minutes and some of that was me making sure I was downloading the proper firmware. I was keeping a eye on this for a while once I couldn't bring myself to spend $160 on a charger when the one I had still worked so when I saw Amazon notify me of a flash deal where I could get it for $125 (good timing because the one I had started to act funny and may be on it's way out) I jumped on it. Even if I didn't get the deal I wouldn't be that upset over the price because after using it first hand, seeing all of it's features and how it handles the balancing of the cells I would not feel ripped off if I spent full price for it.

Awesome, Compact Charger for your RC needs!
The media could not be loaded. I must say I was not sure what to expect with this charger. It LOOKED good, but how would it perform? I have other chargers, a few singles, a double and a quad, but they are all quite bulky. I didn't realize how small this was until I got it in my hands and was able to compare it to my Hitec charger that has the same specs more or less. If you watch the video, you'll see a side by side size comparison. When I get products like this, I try to see if I can navigate it without looking at the instruction manual. I found it easy to do so with this charger as the menus are very intuitive. The sound it emits when navigating the menus is a little less than appealing, but that's just a nit-pick.One of the main things I wanted to know was why was this about 50 bucks more than other leading dual chargers that come with more accessories or cables. Here are the answers I came up with:- These fans sound smoothly and work well to cool the charger as it heats up- The construction is very durable and solid feeling, much more solid than the plastic shelled chargers- Unlike any other charger I have seen on the market, this charger has an induction charging surface on top- It is TINY! Perfect for throwing in your transmitter case or flight bag. This will definitely be my field charger! Now if you want some cons...here they are.- I'd like to see it slightly lower priced- It would be nice to have a few cables and maybe alligator clips for DC inputAt the end of the day, it is a great charger and I am happy to have bought it. It will definitely serve me well and will be my travel charger because it is small, durable and powerful! Buy with confidence!
