A work of art.
I am completely satisfied with my purchase. The engineering, craftsmanship, and attention to detail are superb. Looks great, works great. Spare parts included were unexpected, but really appreciated. They obviously want the customer to be happy with the purchase and I am.

Sterling Engine Test Display and Electrical Generator
Saw this on Amazon and though it would be a great desk decoration. Received it quickly and construction is really nice. Unit started and run perfectly. They aren't kidding when they say it will walk across you table top when running. It get up some pretty impressive speed when allowed to run for a couple of minutes and vibrates a fair amount due to the flywheel. Entire unit and stand are polished and it comes with some spare seals and a spare glass piston cylinder. I purchased it on sale at Amazon for less than $30.00 and it arrived the next day, so was a great deal. It is a solid value even at the regular price and a great conversation piece!

Very well built
Works like a charm. Did not expect it to be of the quality as it is for the price

WOW!
This is a fun little engine. The craftsmanship blew me away! Finely machined and absolutely beautiful (the pictures don't do it justice). Light the alchohol burner, spin the flywheel and watch this beauty run (and run and run and run). My friends just watched with big smiles on their faces and now I know what to give them as gifts. Even my wife who's really not into my love of mechanical toys loved it. She even said 'How cool' when it was running. It's a must for everybody who wants something they don't need..lol Craftsmanship, beauty, functionality and value come together to make this a great product. Let me add: I contacted Djuiino with a question and they were faster than fast to respond! Overall: A+!

Well machined - Great demo of thermodynamics, conservation of energy and electromagnetism
This is a wonderful little stirling engine that demonstrates several core principles of Physics. The Stirling engine works by converting the heat energy from the candle flame into mechanical energy, which is then transferred to the flywheel. As the flywheel turns, it powers the alternator, which converts the mechanical energy into electrical energy. This energy is then rectified and used to power the LED light. Adding load to the electrical circuit results in a noticeable reduction in the flywheel speed as the circuit draws more current. The glass piston on the engine gets hot and can stay hot for quite a while, so tell your kids to resist the urge to check how hot it actually is.

Nice quality build
Everything works as stated. Pretty cool. I think it's a little pricey for what it is.

My first Stirling and I couldn’t be happier
The media could not be loaded. I’ve been fascinated by Stirling engines for years, but this was my first hands-on experience with one and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. This is just a lovely piece of work… beautiful machining with not a scratch in sight. This engine will make a great conversation piece on any shelf; I think it might even pass my wife’s approval for a spot in the living room.I had the engine out of the box and up and running in less than 5 minutes. The only assembly required was bending the leads on the LED and inserting them into the motor terminals. After the LED was attached, all that was needed was to fill the lamp with 90% alcohol, light it up, and wait 30-45 seconds for the cylinder to warm up. Once hot, a flick of the flywheel is all that’s required to start it cycling. I actually would have loved to assemble the engine myself, but there’s also something to be said for the instant gratification of it being pre-assembled.I’ll definitely be making this the first in a collection.p.s. DjuiinoStar, excellent decision on removing the logo from the base... add me to the more than half that thought it was ugly :P

Their Warranty is really true!
I bought one and started it! It worked well for about 5 minutes and then it stopped and froze! Now the main piston seems to be frozen and doesn't move anymore! The main flywheel doesn't turn either!! hope their warranty statement of free replacement holds true! Other than that, it is a pretty little toy!Received the promised replacement already and this one works really great! Thank you for the replacement!
