ready to learn!
My nephews and I are ready to watch our tadpoles transform into frogs! The package was well wrapped and arrived in great condition. We are just waiting on our tadpole order. When Our tadpoles arrived we put them in and watched them swim and explore the tank. After about a week I noticed that 1 tadpole was missing! He had flipped out of one side and was trapped between the plastic top that the whole thing lifts off... I switched the other tadpoles to a container that doesn't have land and then when the first one became a frog-let i put her back in this tank. again after about a week I noticed her getting trapped in different areas in the tank, such as under the water liner and in the corners between the plastic layers. Also the bugs kept going under the plastic lining where she couldn't catch them to eat them. So I had dead bugs and a stuck frog! I ended up switching and using a 5 gallon glass aquarium instead.I would not buy this again!

Great purchase!
My daughter has used this terrarium for a year now and it has had geckos, butterflies, frogs, beetles along with mud, sticks, water and every other thing imaginable inside of it yet the light still works and the paint has not faded, she has dragged it dropped it and the likes and it has held up, even it the SW Florida sunshine which can melt anything. The plastic has scratches but visibility is still good.

Waste of money and tadpole death trap!
I bought 4 of these recently for the my grade level to use to study the life cycle of a frog and they have been nothing but a disappointment. The "built in" pool is a tiny plastic insert that is hard to fill, spill, and makes a total mess. Also the shallow design at the top where it meets the land and resulted in MANY a tadpole deaths. They swim to the top and simple splash out. Even after lowering the water level significantly many of them continue to go over the side as well and get stuck between the plastic wall and plastic pool insert. I will NOT be using these habitats again next year which is a shame after spending some much on them. You are better off just filling a small plastic travel container like the one I have linked. It's half the price and way better! Lee's Kritter Keeper, Rectangle with Lid - Small, Assorted Colors

Multi things about this habitat annoyed me. When I sent in for my frogs ...
Multi things about this habitat annoyed me. When I sent in for my frogs I received my package and the bag that the frog was in had a hole in it and EVERYTHING inside of the packaging had been SOAKED and the tadpole was dead. I called the company and they sent me another one. So, I was happy. Then my tadpole grew into an active frog and was going in and out of the water. Every morning I would come into my classroom and the frog would be stuck on the side of the habitat, between the plastic wall and the bottom part the habitat. Every night I would leave my classroom so worried that my frog wouldn't be alive in the morning. Very poorly designed habitat.

Horrible product! Very cheaply made!
This is definitely not what I was looking for! The material that the thing came in is more sturdy than the product itself! It's cheap flimsy plastic! You can see from the pictures how flimsy it is. I would never put a bug in there! It would get out. The background just fell off when I took it out of the package. I can't believe this thing cost $20! Such a rip off! Very disappointing!

Cute Critter Keeper!
This is fun for your little critter catcher! We've kept many critters in here... My only complaint is that there is a tiny bit of space between the outer shell and the inside landscape, which unfortunately can pinch a critter or two, or in the event that they slither between, you've got a real bug nightmare on your hands... Besides that, it's cute and the kids love it!

Works Well
This is our second terrarium like this and my kids are obsessed. Works really well for your budding scientist. It tends to be a hit when friends come over to explore.

Very hard to clean. But the tadpoles never got stuck.
