some data on iodine
It's very rare to get a clear picture of how effective a vitamin pill is. But taking these vitamins diligently for three months, and then getting some labs done, I was able to get some data that could help shed some light on the efficacy of this supplement. Here's what I learned: My levels for folic acid and iron were excellent. But I came back with an iodine deficiency (we had accidentally stopped cooking with iodized salt, and don't eat a ton of iodine-containing foods - so was perhaps relying on these vitamins to do too much heavy lifting) . My Dr noticed that the form of iodine in this supplement is not easily absorbed by the body. My magnesium levels and vitamin D levels also came back on the low side of normal.Considering that women with iodine deficiencies are less likely to get pregnant, this vitamin may not be the best for people trying to conceive. Or you may want to supplement your iodine elsewhere. I personally have switched to a different multi-vitamin and my labs came back better.Just some actual data to share with you all as you try to navigate the world of vitamins! Seems like if you want to take these supplements, you may need to add an additional iodine, magnesium and vitamin D to your regimen. And don't forget the iodized salt!

Problems problems problems.
These are tough. It’s the powder in the “clear plastic” capsule. Well... if they’re not open or damaged, They break really quickly in your throat as your swallowing them causing you to throw up in your mouth. They keep making me sick to my tummy. I cannot seem to “handle” these ones.I was taking the Rainbow Light Prenatal Complete but they stopped selling them on here. (Those ones were good)

Awesome prenatal!
I can't prove it, of course, but after two failed IUI cycles, I got pregnant with my third IUI after switching from their one a day prenatal to this one. I have now moved onto their first trimester pills and I am thrilled!

Perfect!
No complaints, so far so good. It does come in capsule form, so if any one has an aversion to pills you can break it open. Easy on the stomach, doesnt make me nauseous. Will continue to use.

great brand
I have used this brand of vitamins off and on during my pregnancies. I really like this brand because I haven't had any weird aftertastes, or stomach pain. I take them with food right before I head to bed, and I've been fine. I will say that it is interesting to have them move to the idea of taking certain vitamin for a certain time in your preconception and pregnancy month. It is a good idea, but I haven't honestly looked closely at the label to see what the minor differences are. In my mind I'm thinking that I just need a one and done prenatal vitamin, or maybe a kit to have all the sets that I need for the duration of my pregnancy.

They're OK
These vitamins are pretty mild overall. There is a tiny bit of a smell to them if you put the open container right up to your nose, but it is barely detectable and it's nothing I can smell when I have a single capsule at my lips. The capsules are small enough and easy to swallow. They don't get caught in my throat at all and they don't cause any nausea or upset stomach. The dose is 2 capsules a day, so this is a 2 month supply.I stopped my regular brand to give this one a try and I am feeling a difference, but not for the better. That's not very scientific, so take that for what it's worth. I started to have stuff going on at the same time-- we all have stuff going on, so who knows. I will probably take these during the day and my regulars during the evening to finish the bottle. I will probably not switch brands after this. As always, consult your doctor and so on. These didn't wow me, but they may be perfect for you.
