The Beauty of Horror Volume 3: Haunted Playgrounds

My new favourite book. I've saw these books on Amazon for a while now so decided to get this one as I really loved the pages and I'm so glad I did.This book is stunning. The paper is really thick and pens and markers both work well.Blending is easy on this paper and every image is fantastic.I will now be buying the first and second book and I hope there's lots more to come.If your debating whether to buy this......just buy it, you won't be disappointed.I have tons of books and this one is now my favourite. Can't believe I waited this long to get one of these books.Can't rate this book high enough. Kudos to Alan Roberts for producing a fantastic book with excellent pages and brilliant images. Five stars is not enough for this book.

I think its lacking in more fairground memorabilia and I find it plain and less gory than others ive seen. I think the artist is moving away from the reality of gore and we pay for it thinking it is what we want. Ive completed 2 pieces so far and its about time it was created on single sided pages. The paper is satin feel , middle of the road quality and takes markers, gel pens, acrylic paint pens and acrylic paints well. Also it really takes alcohol markers very well but you lose a page doing this. Sadly I wont be buying another. I enjoyed the first one the best...….But then its all personal taste and craft abilities.

Brilliant book, awesome images for the gorerer of the colouring community lol. Paper quality is fantastic! Love the thicker softer versions of these pages, just like kerby rosanes!. If you like gory/horror books then get it! Highly reccomend!.

The book is full of elaborate pictures to colour, in good detail. There is plenty in it to keep you busy for ages. Being a horror nerd like myself, it is such great eye candy and i like how this book has a carnival/funhouse theme, allowing the illustrator of this book to let their imagination run wild with ideas.

Brilliant quality as always so much to color and enjoy I love all this series of books and always preorder them.The pages just cry out for bright vibrant colours.I use gel pens and they do not bleed through at all Buy if you like skulls,and all things macarbre with a twist.My fave pages are a hot dog with a bat in the bun and pop corn turned round as fresh popped eyes!Great ideas and fun to be had from this book.

Now i love the beauty of horror books, i love the fairground, however i found this book not be as interesting or fun as the others, but still a good book

This item is of excellent quality, it has a large variety of images, and its pages are nice and thick instead of the cheap thin kind that bleeds through. Totally recommend.

I adore Alan's art, its spooky and cute, I reccomend every one of this books, I can't wait for the new one, I think this one is my favouite of the big books

My daughters and I love these coloring books. This one is really fun as it has a carnival theme. The author is very creative!
