Impressive: Printmaking, Letterpress and Graphic Design

This books was well written and the few interviews were well handled and provided solid and useful information. The images are fairly good all around throughout the book as well. My only problem with the book is the lack of content. There's about 5 pages of text tops. Don't get me wrong I love the images too but I was using this as a source for my dissertation that was on the values of letterpress in graphic design and was hoping this book would have been more helpful.

This is a great book as it has collected, I'm not sure how, a group of designers who are all clearly excellent print-makers too. A wonderful resource for ideas, and for the technical reader too. My only complaint, and it may seem minor, is that there seems to have been little or no editing of the texts. A good editor not only strengthens the language of a book, they also solidify (sometimes) the idea of the book. In the case of this book, the thesis seems to be nothing more than to showcase great work, without much in the way of contextualization. Still, as a printer and a designer, I'm happy to have it in my library.

I really cannot fault this book - every single page has gorgeous examples of print and design with bright bold inspiring colours. Everyone I've shared this book with has gone on to purchase a copy for themselves. Get yours quick before they run out of copies!! Easily my favourite book in my collection.

Great print quality. I can feel the texture of the papers. Lots of different images with different styles. I'm happy about the best deal & quality of this book.

Just got this beautiful book yesterday and I can already tell it will be one that I flip through often. It is full of unique, creative, and inspiring work.

Such a wonderful book full of pages and pages of great designs, especially for people who appreciate texture and color.

I really love the images in this book. It has lots of inspiration for a graphic designer who likes a hand made finish.Would highly recommend to anybody who likes crafting.
