Brute force and ignorance
They're very, very strong.BUILD QUALITY : When you get them, the gripping end is bonded together in some cases, as if from the force of a machine press that cut the metal they're made from. This means you have to press very hard to break, or cut the join before use. Once done you may need to file down the gripping edge if you don't want to damage surfaces.IN USE : Even with large hands the clips can sometimes require 2 hands to use safely and accurately, such is the strength of the springs. They may even squash wood slightly if clamping to wooden surfaces, so maybe buffer with cardboard or something if required.Having said all the above, you are probably buying these for the sheer industrial strength, and they deliver on that in buckets. Also, the value is outstanding. I've seen single clamps for sale for the price of 10 of these.

Good Strong clips just what i need.
Bought to hold a gazebo side panel to the post of a smaller shelter over our hot tub, wanted something sturdy and had a similar one already. These are pretty much the same quality and size as I already had and hold the sheets in place well even in wind. Spring is very strong.Recommended if it’s holding something tight you need them for.

These are exactly what I wanted..... They have a good grip and look really good quality...... They are pretty tough to open of you don't have a strong grip, it takes two hands for me to use them, but I wanted good strong clamps and I think these should have the durability I wanted.

Proper clips
Just like the ones used when I was working on the markets.Stiff as hell but they don’t fall offSome may need to use two hands to open them until they break in.I’d recommend these for securing tarpaulin on chicken coops.

Large and extremely strong. Perhaps too tough for weaker hands, but they certainly do grip and don't let go.

Excellent product
Excellent product at a good price with first class service from seller. Arrived earlier than advised each clamp individually wrapped and delivered in a strong cardboard box. More than strong enough for purpose and unlike other reviews I found them easy to open with one hand. Would recommend these to hold covers for many items in adverse weather

Not needed for trading stall but more as a clamp to hold my lead weight mould while casting fishing weights,excellent value for money and can highly recommend
