I bought this to change up the front of the 2nd hand dock I’d purchased. I wanted a second one for upstairs so I didn’t have to keep moving it. The original dock was a little scuffed and has that manufactured defect some had with a front that bent inward (which risked scratching your switch).I bought 2 red one and black. Watched the video on YouTube. I was actually pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to do. This is my first switch mod. It came with screwdrivers and replacement screws ( I reused my original screws however). It took roughly 30 minutes and looks really good. Bonus: it got rid of the defect as it completely replaced the defective part 👌🏽

i'm not the most diy savvy but following a youtube tutorial was super easy, just slow it down in and rewatch the more fiddly sections! took me around 20 minutes and it was completely worth it

I didnt realise it wasnt just a cover until after I ordered the faceplate so cue googling how to replace a switch dock faceplate, it looked so fiddly but the only difficult part was putting the circuit board back together, was super easy to install other than that, feels like really good quality, nice and solid, considering it comes with all the screws and screwdrivers you need its completely worth the money, and works exactly how youd expect

A bit stiff at parts when trying to install but there’s extremely helpful videos they have uploaded on YouTube to guide you. It looks super cute and much better than the plain grey!🌸

Really nice, not too hard to change over, looks lovely!However the tools included are terrible, I barely got through the change over without the screwdriver heads disintegrating.

I’m a novice and this was simple enough. There were a lot of screws but the instructions are all on the advert photos.Fits perfectly to the dock and I love the colour. Waiting for the Sakura pink switch case and buttons to complete my modifications.

Despite not mentioning it anywhere on the page, this does not fit anything but the original Switch dock.

Die Docking Station war mein erster Umbau, bevor ich mich an die Switch selber rangetraut habe.Mit Youtube als Hilfe hat der Umbau nur 30min gedauert.Sieht sehrt schick aus, fühle mich wieder total nostalgisch mit dem transparent lila :D

great product but I assumed it was more of a snap on kind of cover, be warned this is a chore lol, this is not a cover but a replacement of the faceplate so u have to follow the video linked instructions (which is very helpful and understandable) to unscrew the whole component, removing the circuit board, replacing the faceplate with this one and assembling it all together, took me 40 mins. so if you have any dexterity issues you WILL need help but the results are soooo cute and worth it!
