Songbird Essentials SE7015 windowalert Hawk

My second time purchasing one of these. We already had them on our kitchen window, these were for the bedroom window after installing mirror film on the inside. They are easy to install - you just clean the window surface and wet it thoroughly, and the decal will adhere to the outside. Ours have withstood rain, wind etc for months without falling off. From inside rhe room, the decals are not very noticeable, but from outside they can be seen clearly - especially when the sun is reflecting off the window, which was what we wanted. We haven’t had a single bird strike since these were put up.

Expensive for what they are, but does seemed to have stopped the starlings crapping on my windows as they were continually flying to the roof of my house

Don’t work. Buy bird spikes instead

These work pretty good, but the amount that they recommend you have is way too much money. You can read what I did, but I basically just used one package and it worked fine. I didn't realize that you're technically supposed to have a lot more of these and you're supposed to replace them over time, which is frustrating and gets super expensive. This package only comes with two birds, and you're technically supposed to put a bird every foot or so. I do not want to cover my entire window with just invisible birds because you can see them at different angles, and that gets really expensive when it costs $7-$10 for two. If you're supposed to be replacing them every 6 months to a year, that's going to be so pricey and obnoxious. So I didn't do any of that recommended stuff. Instead, I just bought one package and I put a bird on one part of the sliding door, and another bird on the other part of the sliding door. I took the parts of the packaging that were around the bird (it's basically like a sticker that you peel off) and I cut those remaining excess pieces that you're supposed to just throw away into little circles. Through that, I was able to make about 7-10 other tiny small dot reflective decals of my own making and put those around the rest of the window. By doing that, I was able to save myself some money, and so far no birds have hit my window again since I put this up (whereas before I had like three in the span of like two or three months).

Our new house has huge windows on both north & south sides of the home & the backyard is secluded by tall, nature trees. It is beautiful & peaceful until the birds start trying to fly through the house. Every single day we had at least 2-3 poor feathered friends smash into our 2nd & 3rd story windows. We were constantly finding feathers on the car & backyard furniture. Since sticking these to out windows (on the inside, by the way) we haven't had a single aerial disaster. NOT ONE! Thank you for these. I think they are a little over priced considering there are just 2/package, but they do the job so only 1 star deducted.

Love that they keep the birds from flying into my windows. I have used these for years and they really work well. They stay on the windows. Like the different designs. Can see them from the outside but not noticeable from the inside looking out. Change them as recommended as they do lose effectiveness and can bake and curl on windows with direct western exposure. Easy to remove and keep clean.

These decals appears to work well. I have had two in place for about a month, with no bird strikes. In fact, I have not seen ANY birds in my backyard. This is perhaps a coincidence, or it may be an unfortunate side effect of the decals. Nevertheless, I would rather lose the company of birds in the yard altogether than find them dead after a collision with my windows. The decals are a huge improvement over the hawk silhouette printouts which I had taped to the windows before I got the decals. The decals actually enhance the appearance of the windows. Depending on the height of your windows, it may be difficult to attach them to the outside. I had to use an extension ladder.
