ULINE2.6 mil Packing and Shipping Tape, Clear 3" x 55 Yds (S-1893)

This is my second purchase of this tape. Both times, I have been pleased with its stickiness, its thickness (not very thick but not cheaply thin, either), and its durability. It is relatively easy to apply, yet it does split or tear down the middle at times when lifting an edge to unroll it, though this is only a minor inconvenience.I recommend this tape both for individuals using it for packages they mail from home, and for businesses that need clear package tape to meet commercial demands.I have probably used better clear package tape in my life, but this is great, and at a fair price. Better than 3M, which doesn't stick well. And I particularly like that it is 2 inches wide, along with the fact that it can cover and protect things that still need to be clearly read, such as a package label, book spine, or Medicare card.

Tape is thin and you really have to watch when you cut it not to let it flip back on the roll! I had a difficult time when I cut it and it flipped back on the roll! Very sheer and thin!Nice width!

I love anything Uline because their stuff just always works, including this tape. I originally purchased it because I have a marble bathroom and wanted to use suction cups, and suction cups don't stick to marble! I needed a clear tape that was super large to apply to the marble and then the suction cup to the tape and I needed it to be invisible and stay. Well, this met all my needs and my suctions cups have been holding up for a couple of months now, even with the steam and you can't see the tape. Since then I've used it to seal a few boxes and it's working well for that, too!

I was happy to get this roll of tape at a great price and with very quick delivery. Not only is it a great roll of tape that is very easy to manage and easy to apply but it also came with a free dead bug stuck in between the layers of tape.On the plus side, it gave me a great idea for a new screenplay about a group of scientists that develop a means of bringing dinosaurs to life using DNA taken from dino blood, which has been preserved inside insects encased in a roll of Uline shipping tape. It's gonna be huge!!!

This is a great tape for packing because it's wide and covers well. However, on my fourth roll I have noticed a quality decline. The tape is thinner, sticks to itself when you are unrolling or is uneven, and is hard to not waste after you finally get the right amount.

so easy to use im really happy even without one of those tape dispenser things it is the easiest tape ive ever used and didnt tangle and stick together when I did something with it by accident that I thought it would make me have to ball it up and throw it away and start over again. seems to stick really well. im really glad I got this! Oh yeah and after it sticks back to the tape roll it is really really easy to get it to come back up to reuse it too.

love this. 3" wide is what I got and I wish I had bought this much earlier. Great for packing boxes and I even use it to tape down cords for fan or holiday lights in summer so I wont trip. Plenty sticky

I bought my last batch of tape as a multi deal and it was not as thick or wide. With time it goes bad. This roll will last me many years for the uses I may have come up (and there are many). Nice and heavy duty, fresh and comes off roll clean. Sticks real well. I highly suggest investing in the premium gun to dispense it, you will enjoy it greatly.

The type of tape I ordered is Uline S-1893 which is absolutely clear. The type I received is S-1893-4 which is a bit cloudy. There is not a lot of difference other than the clarity, but for my use it has to be absolutely clear. Unfortunately I don't feel I can return it as I have used some for some tests.Update - I ordered this in September last year and now it won't stick properly to corrugated cardboard. Useless for packing as the tape falls of the boxes in a few days. I have downgraded to 2 stars.
