This Clearhill Solar String Lights Outdoor is a nice set of lights. It’s very bright and full of lights. The lights are plentiful and a great length for using for one “think”, eg. Lighting a table, wrapping around a wreath, etc.My set was the “Colorful” set. I’d have preferred the warm white, but if you like colour, this one is nice. It cycles through different lighting patterns. I was trying to find the least annoying (to me) pattern. I don’t like it flashing like a disco all the time. The listing says “Flash steady on” as an option, I’m not sure exactly what that means. Flash and steady are quite opposite. The most serene setting I could find was on that is a fade in and out. It fades out of blue into a red/warm white combo, then back to the blue.Overall, I find the modes to be annoying, I want calm, but these were all flashing much too much.The listing shows it being used on an indoor table and it also says it’s suitable for indoor. How so? When it’s solar charged? If you set it up in some indoor decor, you’d have to dismantle your display and take the whole thing outside to recharge. The string of lights is hard-wired into the solar panel box.When I saw that mentioned that it was suitable for indoor, I thought it had some secondary method of powering, but that is not the case.If you want it for outside and like flashing lights, this is fine. But if you’re looking for something more elegant or want to use it indoors (as it says in the listing but does not apply), then you’ll be disappointed.I find it hard to recommend based on the fact that the listing is misleading with its mention of indoor use.

These lights are so delicate and beautiful. They are unique and look pretty when lit up. The wire style feels a bit delicate however they seem to hold up and can make shapes, be wrapped around things without needing ties and have lots of settings for the light function. I'm really impressed with these!

What I love about these lights:- solar powered so no batteries to change or plugs to find- I really like that way the light are attached together - like a leaf pattern which makes the light strand look much more full than just lights strung together.- they are weatherproof so can be left outdoors- very long strand (6 meters!)- all control is on the lights (no remotes to lose)- reasonable priceWould have liked…Would have liked the option to keep lights on the red/warm setting instead of cycling through all the colours - but that is a request and does not deter from the quality and functionality of this set.Verdict: recommend this purchase
