I bought this small manicure set as a stocking stuffer, the packaging is perfect. The set is compact and fits easily into a purse or travel bag. The quality is surprisingly good, and each tool feels sturdy and sharp enough. Also love the color, matte black.

This manicure tool set does what it's supposed to do, which is to clip my nails, but its overall quality is not the best. It comes in a nice black case that clasps together. They are sturdy metal and sleek. However, the black coat on each tool can get scraped off easily, especially on the big nail clipper where the twisty-thing easily scrapes off its black paint. The scissor is pointy at the head, but it is rigid and not sharp enough, and you have to use force to open and close it.It is also tricky to take each tool in and out of the case, especially the flatter cuticle ones. I just ended up not pushing them back into the red loops since it is annoying. I've used other nail filers before and the filer is not up to par. It is not gritty enough and does not file my nails at all. My cheaper ones do more than this. The tweezer is good and can grab onto small, fine hair, so no issues there. It's also weird why they have an ear wax tool in this manicure yet, LOL, but that works as expected. Overall, I would skip this for its quality and functionality, but it does look sleek and nice for a one-time use gift!

I purchased this set to go in one of my kids' Christmas stockings. It's a nice set! The box has Santa on it and says, "Merry Christmas." The kit itself is black and has no reference to Christmas. So, feel free to purchase it for non-Christmas celebrations if you're willing to re-package it!The tools are all black and of a good quality. The container (which clasps together) is red inside. There are eight tools inside the case, and there is no insert. This is the room for improvement, in my opinion. With eight tools, it would be good to have a slip of paper saying what each is for.
