I remember drinking Absinthe a few years ago and being enthralled with the stories about it. It didn't really manifest, at that time, as a mythical thing. I was still able to function quite normally! This, however... I bought some to have with some friends. This one definitely creates unusual situations and I am convinced that it is, indeed, slightly psychoactive because it affected my unconscious mind for a few days afterwards. Not in a bad way - just different. And boy, with a good quality sugar cube, it goes down easy! Perhaps, too easy?!With good company, a dreamy summer evening in the garden, setting sun twinkling through the trees, nice glasses and good sugar cubes - lovely.

Really rate this Absinthe, beautiful flavour and great strength, it is fairly pricey but worth a try!

Worth it's price, absolutely love buying this every year as my anniversary drink with my girlfriend. So happy

Expensive but taste is nice, Who knows if this is the real product or not i hear lots is fake but i enjoy the flavour and boy o boy does the 69% sneak up on you a damn sight faster then regular 40%

Absinthe has an undeserved reputation as a dangerous drink, unsuitable for use by any sensible person.This is totally untrue, prepared properly absinthe is a real Gentleman’s spirit and it makes an excellent choice for the last drink of the night. Try it out but read up on the preparation first to really enjoy it.

I bought this merely for this box as I’m a fan of Van Gogh, so can’t comment on the actual drink itself but the box is very pretty and I was surprised to see the spoon has Vincent’s face on it as well! Very cute and novel.
