Bought these for camping. Very handy piece of kit with great quality. Perfect for camping! Very happy with this purchase.

I was attracted these BECAUSE they were thumb screw... My others are all twist to lock and over time they're not gripping as tightly as when they were new. I thought that thumbscrew would be better because you can just tighten them a bit more as they get worn. I never thought about the thumbscrews being able to be completely removed and I do lose things, so will have to be extra careful.That said these should be more than strong enough for my usage, either as extra tie off points for my tarp or as additional pegging points half way along my hiking tent's fly (as for some stupid reason the manufacturers only put peg out points in each corner and the wind gets under the middle and causes it to flap so much that I end up losing the corner pegs. So these clips strategically placed mean that I can use that tent in pretty much any weather as they claim to have a 10 kg load each (same as my others) and I've held my tent secure with them in 70+ mph winds!

Works really well for my clear tarp screen on my verandah. Clip nice and strong and hold it well. Look good too and the little hooks are handy. Recommended.

The media could not be loaded. Not the best design I've used. These tarp clips have some good points and some not so good. Here is what I have found:1- The hook hole is larger than some, this can be an advantage.2- These clips also come with an extra moulded hook that can be used to hang or support items.3- The material is all non corroding plasticThe downsides ...1- The jaw does not open when I release the screw clamp. I have to prise it apart. Not so convenient.2- The clamp screw is not retained, so when it's fully undone, it can drop out and get lost. NOT goodGenerally, they work ok, but if you want a really easy to use tarp hook and ones that are quick to open and close without losing the screw, these are not the best ones to choose. The extra hook, may be useful and could be the one feature you want. If so, they'll be the best option. If that does not appeal, look elsewhere baring in mind the points raised here.

Used them to hold a car cover in strong winds. Worked like a charm. Good grip

These have come in very handy.    I’ve got a tarp across the front of my wood store and the eyelets have started to come away because the wind has had the tarp flapping away.    I just put one of these close to where an eyelet has torn away and then I can secure the tarp again.   The clips can be tightened up so everything will stay secure, this is a great way to give a ‘tired’ tarp a second life - much cheaper than buying a new one.

There are no instructions supplied in the box, but these are easy enough to work out how to use - in fact there are many ways to use these.They are a tough plastic thumbscrew grip that will grip on to tent-type material or similar.Once attached, they can be used to hang other items from, or they can be used to help secure the tent material using guy ropes or the supplied elastic straps.They attach really well, and for the amount of flexibility they provide, they are reasonably priced at just under a tenner, plus there was a 30% voucher available at the time of the review.These would be useful for gardeners, sailors and all outdoor types.
