I couldn't find a battery for my Nook at Barnes and Noble to save my soul. But here it is on Amazon for a good price.This Nook sat on my shelf unused so long the battery expanded and popped. I figured the Nook was ruined and didn't want to spend too much to find out. This bargain battery brought it back to life.I knocked off one star because for some reason the battery meter isn't accurate with this battery. It still lasts over a week or so, but at "half tank" it's done. Annoying at first, but now I just use it to half tank and then charge it.Now I keep the Nook in my backpack at work since I got a paperwhite for Christmas.

I bought two of this type of battery thinking the batteries from my Nooks were going bad (this generation of Nook just has poor battery efficiency actually, I didn't even need the batteries as they lasted no longer than the originals) and both my wife's and my Nook started having glitches like crashes and issues with keeping time. Maybe it was a bad batch that has connection issues, but whatever the case the batteries were a complete waste of money. Try a different brand if you need a replacement (just be aware the battery life of this Nook is pretty bad, like 5 days usually with moderate usage, and the battery might not be at fault).

I bought this product in September and mistakenly rated the seller low. I have removed the negative seller review because as the issue was not with the seller but with the product. If you have a Nook and are looking to replace the battery, be sure to check to be sure this battery will work. I have a 1st generation "regular" Nook and this battery simply heated up but would not charge. I might add that I returned it to Amazon and they promptly returned the purchase price.

The battery was what I needed; accessed a youtube video to show me how to use the tools and get the replacement installed.Problem solved.

This is exactly what I needed to fix my Nook! My mom gave me her original Nook and the battery had exploded, so I needed a new one. This works great!

very low capacity to none. one battery would not take any charge. one takes a charge but will run nook for only about 4 hour. Original nook battery was good for 48 hours.

Works perfectly for my nook! so glad I dont have to get a new ereader.
