Great belt, very happy with the quality of the product.
Replaced the original belt on my 2012 2.0 TDI MK 6 Jetta and it had Contitech written on it so I'm happy with this being an OEM quality replacement. No issues fitting it or anything. If you plan to do the job and want to replace the tensioner, it's a mostly simply job but will take a few hours if you've never done anything like this before.Jack stand front wheels on pinch weld (right behind front wheels, look for the thicker section of metal).Take the wheels off, remove the wheel liner screwsRemove the four screws on the grill, remove the two bolts above the headlights, remove the two bolts below the headlights. Unplug the electrical connector to the fog lights at the bottom of the bumper, you can now pull it off, it is held in by plastic clips alone, be gentle or don't but they will likely snap off (ask me how I know!).Undo one or two out of the four bolts on either side of the car holding the bumper on, use an M10 bolt at least 100mm long, I got some from screwfix.Undo the remaining bolts holding the bumper on and you can now slide the bumper forwards along the bolts, this is what VW term the service position. Ideally you would undo all the coolant lines to the radiator etc. as they will want to pull the radiator back, but you do not need to do this if you can't be bothered, it will just be a fight to move the alternator out of the way while you pull the bumper forwards at the same time, I managed this.I have only done this on a diesel, but you want to take the three bolts off the fuel filter housing and move it out the way, I used zip ties to hold it up out of the way to give me access to the alternator.Undo the two bolts holding in the alternator, lift it out a little to get access to the back, unclip the electrical connector, undo the large bolt and the small 8mm ground bolt. You can now remove the alternator entirely if you wiggle it around all the piping in the way.Remember you are meant to be doing this job from the bottom/front of the car with all the coolant lines off, giving you access to the side of the alternator which then lets you access the tensioner bolt through an access port, but that involves taking off even more parts of the car, this is probably the fastest way to do the job from what I've watched of other people doing it. So take that into all into account when you are somewhat struggling to see the tensioner bolt. This is not a simple job but can be done on your driveway if like me every garage around you has a month wait to be seen. I replaced my alternator at the same time while doing this job as that was the reason I did it at all in the first place.I have attached a picture of a similar VW Jetta engine bay highlighting the eight or so bolts to take the bumper off and then the front of my own vehicle showing two of the bolts holding the bumper on which I replaced with M10 bolts as well as the screw in the wheel liner holding the bumper on, you need to be aware of it or you can affect the fit of the bumper, it is present on both sides and the screw threads up into a rubber insert to keep the bumper tight against the rest of the bodywork.

Perfect fit
This was a perfect fit just check your car and count the number of ribs on the inside of the belt to be sure that’s correct for your car. Some cars have a/c and some don’t so the size is different and you need to double check it’s correct.
