I like it and it is solid but wish it was easier to program and hook up to different systems.

Patience paid off as I was waiting for the right format (larger surface area, black industrial theme, and 12 buttons) before diving into these flatbox style controllers. Obviously the price would have to be right as well or else I would have just purchased a Kitsune. As an owner of a diy hitbox I was a little worried I wouldn’t like the buttons compared to Sanwas. That worried went away after my first spin with it. I love the buttons. This is a fantastic controller in both style and function. The only thing negative I can say is the cable that came with it is fairly short (maybe 4ft) and looks pretty cheap and flimsy. Not a deal breaker but something to note. Don’t hesitate on this one if it is your preferred layout.

However, while the controller performs well and is versatile across platforms, the USB-C port is a major flaw. I’ve had two of these controllers, and the port failed on both due to its weak build, which is disappointing given its otherwise solid performance. If the port were more durable, this would be an excellent buy.

I hope this Haute42 company releases an M17 version like this controller that has one more button next to the 'left' directional button like on the Duelpad A16 and keeping the bottom button the left of the 'up' directional button
