My kid LOVES Legos, always has and he is now 24 and still LOVES putting them together. ha When I stumbled upon this set, I thought why not? The price is good and the pieces look identical to Legos. He spent some enjoyable time putting this set together and shared that it's pretty much a great dupe. The instructions were easy to understand and the pieces fit together well and there were no noticeable issues at all. Smaller children honestly would not even care that it wasn't a Lego set. In my opinion if you enjoy putting sets together, why does it even matter who the maker is? And honestly, some sets are ridiculously over priced anyway. With all of this said, he had a blast putting this together and it's displayed with his other builds.

Kevin Birds and Dug Dog building set is compatible with the Lego Up House. I purchased this set for when the grandchildren are over and they love it. The youngest is age 7.5 years and had no difficulty putting these together. I love the vibrant colored pieces and is so cute when the figures are together. Be careful if any little ones are around, because the small pieces could be a choking hazard. The clear, step by step instructions are easy to follow if you have any questions. I recommend this set and would definitely purchase these again.

Finished product looks great and pieces are compatible with name brand Lego. I found the instructions lacking in clarity and not that I’m a professional but I do build a wide variety of difficulty Lego builds from little kid ones with my 4 year old to the ones that say 16-18+. I found many of the colors to not match instruction to reality at all, and many of the arrows to not be clear where they were going. I had to go ahead several steps frequently to see where something should go. Sometimes there was just no contrast you couldn’t tell when a blob was multiple pieces of one color.Overall it is a vibrant build for an Up lover, it just take a little more adjustment for such a small build than I am used to.

We love “UP” in our house so we had to have this! Dead ringer for a Lego dupe, looks great alongside the house. Easy to build and will be enjoying for a long time!

No missing pieces! Fast build. Mini Kevins are soo cute and Doug was easy to build!Kevin was a little bit of a challenge. The final product is fragile and he can’t stand on his own since majority of the weight is the body.

This is such a cute set of building blocks very similar to Lego's. Very colorful and the big "Kevin" bird is about 10" tall. Such a delight for fans of the Pixar movie "Up". Kevin's babies and the "Dug" dog are just too cute. 5 stars.

This is a fun brick build kit for any fan of the big brand building blocks or the animated movie. I love building with the name-brand bricks, but the kits can be pricey. For $19.98 (current price), this is a great affordable option. The bricks are compatible with name brand Lego and the build itself is pretty fun. I like that the set includes the little Kevins in addition to Dug and the big Kevin. Overall, really cute, and a fun build without breaking the bank.
