5.11PT-R Daily Grind Tactical Workout Backpack 26L, Style 57120, Black

This is a good daily back pack that is big enough to carry my daily necessities like notebooks, EDC emergency kits, extra shirts, gloves, etc. It’s not a backpack I would use for back country back packing due to the limited size but great enough for daily use.The material feels good, and the stitching is solid. It has withstood my daily use and abuse and shows no signs of wear and tear. The padded shoulder straps make it comfortable to carry. The clamshell design allows me to open the back pack to easily reach in to grab items. There’s also a padded compartment to secure a small laptop. The interior has adequate pockets and compartments to keep my items organized.The straps are easily adjustable and after wearing them for a few hours, it didn’t cause any uncomfortable pains.Overall, it’s well-built and perfect for my daily use.

When I saw that a 5.11 product was available, I jumped on it as they have quite the reputation in the outdoors/tactical/shooter community. They are well-made and well-thought-out, with the little touches that really add utility.Well, this bag was well-made as regards the material and stitching, zippers, water bottle elastic, etc. But internally, besides a tablet panel/pocket, it is just a hole. Worse, and I cannot fathom this, is that the strap adjusters are fixed under sewn covers so that you have approximately zero access. Just check the pictures.Further, and this might just be a "me" thing, the arm straps are not long enough for me to extend one and cross-body the bag. I am a big guy and this does not always work out, but it usually does.It is good for what it is, but it is less than I expected from 5.11.

It's a great backpack, but make sure it's going to fit what you will be using it for. Many backpacks have far more pockets and organizational areas than this bag. For me, this is a good thing because I am mostly using it as a gym bag. Seems well made. High quality materials. Zippers work well.I do have to say that I HATE the extra steps I had to take to adjust the straps, but it was a one-time pain so I'm not going to take a star off for it.

Quality of this backpack is great, as you would expect from 5.11. Straps are comfortable and adjust well to fit any size frame. The pack is very lightweight and the main compartment has plenty of storage for the size. I would like to see some molle webbing or additional attachment points on the exterior but overall a nice day pack.

This rugged backpack is made of sturdy durable material. It has side pockets on the outside to hold water bottles, and a large pocket on the inside to keep my laptop protected. My son has been taking it lately when he's been out on his motorcycle because it's on the smaller side so its not adding bulk to catch wind while he's riding. I love that it has all the velcro on the outside so I can get a patch with my name on it to make it easy to stand out while I'm at the gym or out running errands. Very spacious and easy to organize.

Well made pack from a great national brand-5.11This pack is not your typical tactical pack with dozens of pockets. If you're needing a tactical pack, 5.11 can definitely provide one in their line.This pack is great for the office or school. It has a large pocket for your tablet or laptop and pockets for pens and such.Overall, a nice simple back for everyday use from a well known brand.

I have a tone of 5.11 tactical gear that is much better quality and have more storage options. I expected much more from this.Overall, this is a descent backpack but it is very basic and made from thin material.

I really love this 5.11 backpack as it is made with top notch quality materials and excellent stitching. The backpack is great for carrying several items and makes a great hiking backpack or gym backpack.
