Makes workouts easy - and cheaper than multiple dumbbells.
I wish I would have gone this route before I bought dumbbell sets with increasing weight as I progressed.I now have several dumbbell sets I never use because it is so easy to change weights with these. I can use the appropriate weight for different muscle groups as I go through my routine, and work each set to exhaustion with the repetitions I want to do.To be honest I don't know why the set with the copper handles are more expensive or if they are any better than the standard set, but I do like the hexagonal design because they don't roll.They do have a "do not drop" warning on them so if you like to drop your weights at the end of a set these aren't for you, but for versatility during your workout they can't be beat.

Nice but not perfect …
i like the dumbbells but they are pretty bulky and aren’t well balanced either … hence the 4 stars.

Exactly what I needed
These are really easy to use and the 5-pound increment adjustments make it perfect for slight increases over time. The finish and flat edges are great for placing on the floor without rolling, and the grip is strong. Not worth a star reduction, but my only issue is that the base moves around on the floor when placing the entire 55-pound dumbbell back in the stand. Perhaps some feet in a future design will help prevent this?

Poor warranty
Research closely. These dumbbells only have a 30 day warranty according to CAP. And you pay shipping on the returns. I was shocked to read this on their site.

Nice compact set of barbells
The nylon coated steel is a nice touch to get rid of the “clinking” I’ve used them daily for 2 weeks and no issues with the weights falling/failing. Super easy adjustment from 10 to 55, 5 Lb increments. The flat edges are also a nice touch, so they won’t roll if set down. The copper grip is good. I’d recommend these to all my friends.
