It's a nice grow bag, packaged wonderfully but IT DOES NOT COME WITH SPORES. You have to buy that separately (or culture your own if you are that talented). My fault for not reading thoroughly. I did buy liquid spores but did not have success. I think my area was too cool. It was my first attempt. Not sure if there will be more. Seems cheaper to just buy them.

I’m a little let down, my bag came just in a box not vacuum sealed or even in another bag, the inside was bone dry, when I added my culture it colonized for a few days and then completely stalled due too the dryness of the grains, even if I do get the whole thing to colonize, it will not be able to fruit as mushrooms are 90% water and there is absolutely no moisture in this bag. Also the filter patch just doesn’t function at all so I can’t do any gas exchange, very let down waste of time and money I learned the lesson the hard way, never buy all in one bags that are less than 5lbs they just don’t have the capacity to hold enough moisture all the way through fruiting.

Easy-peasy, idiot-proof grow bag. This is my second purchase from this company and I've been very pleased.

Easy, sterile. However, some do appear dry. Normally, I see moisture form in the bag after mixing it. It appears in some cases, it does not and substrate appears bit dry, slowing the growing process. I've had to sterilize needles and water to inject in which makes me nervous for potential contamination. But so far has worked when that was needed.

I have only used one of the Spore Sorcery bags (2 lb), and I am about to order another. For reference, I have only used 2 bags from another brand before.When i innoculated the Spore Sorcery bag, I also innoculated a bag from the other brand (my 3rd from that brand) at the same time using the same spore syringe. The Spore Sorcery bag colonized significantly faster than the previous other brand bags, and the bag that I innoculated at the same time. It was actually faster to the point to where today I harvested from the Spore Sorcery bag when the other brand bag is just now colonizing. The harvest was also at least twice as large than what I got from the previous other brand bags.The Spore Sorcery bag is what I will be using until I get a monotub set up. I was extremely impressed with the times it took for each phase, and I feel like it was a much better value.
