Magnet works well. Nice & bold. Nice quality, almost looks like it came with the dishwasher. I switch it to "clean" when I start the load so everyone knows that if it says "clean" and the dishwasher is not running, then it is ready to be unloaded &put away. If it says "dirty", then rinse your plate and put it in. No excuses!

Growing up my parents would use a sticky note to put on the dishwasher to tell if it was clean or dirty. It'd fall off all the time and just didn't look good. This is the modern day obvious solution. It is magnetic so I just pop'd it on and I slide it back and forth as I load and unload my dishwasher.

You may take, and use, anything in the dishwasher. I have washed the dishes. No need to ask, or wonder.

This magnet is perfect! I love the ease of use. It also looks as though it was purchased with our dishwasher. Definitely not cheap looking. Very well made and the perfect addition to a large family!
