Fitted this RCCB for a friend who was having intermittent tripping problems. A quote had been given which I thought was excessive and he was told there’d be a delay in obtaining the part. After being called out by a customer to an electrical issue that was proving to be quite problematic in solving, I eventually found out that one problem was that the original RCD had gone 'sensitive', this is when an RCD trips out at a level that is a lot lower than its rating.Over my 40+ years as an Electrician, I have encountered this many times, the only option is to replace the RCD.This replacement arrived in good time, was fitted the day after, and the initial problem was solved in no time at all.Good price.
