Easy to use, it just works.
I picked this up as an upgrade to my K1C. Mostly because I needed a heated chamber for a few projects and the larger build area was a nice bonus. 100+ hours of printing in and the K1C has been put in storage until I have time to go through it and figure out why the K2 Pro prints so much better. I don't know if it's the 4 post bed vs 3 post, the linear rail for the toolhead, or what. But the prints come out considerably better looking in terms of layer lines on the K2 Pro.

K1C made me like 3d printing again!
I had an older Ender 3, 3 hrs of tampering and setting up just to make a few prints and then have to spend another 3 hrs trying to get it to print right again. The K1C has been awesome! Auto-calibrated itself, been running prints almost non-stop for a month now. Only minor hiccups that were my fault (clogged nozzle after switching from ABS back to PLA bc I didn’t purge the ABS from the nozzle), and the extruder has jammed a few times when retracting filaments. Easy to take apart and clear the jam (also my fault for rushing filament changes #ADHD haha). Overall it has made me excited to 3d print again! More time designing and printing, a WHOLE lot less time working on the machine to get it to print! The Creality Print software is quite good as well, the app is even cooler! I can check on prints and watch real-time video of the print bed! 10 out of 10 would recommend!

Printer, came with something I did not expect. a blockage in the Teflon Filament tube.
Box was delivered well, not crushed. Printer was excellently packed. I installed it only to find that when I tried to feed filament into the teflon filament tube so that it could enter the extruder, there was a preexisting blockage. White, about and inch long. I have not had the chance or energy to disassemble the extruder and try to remove the blockage. Printer won't print as filament cannot reach extruder. I like the printer and am impressed but am annoyed that there was a blockage and I have not used it. Maybe the extruder assembly is tested before installation Into the printer? I don't know. I guess I just have to disassemble the extruder (remove the shroud and detach it to get to the Teflon Tube. hopefully the blockage just falls out. I give it 1 star because of this. Very anticlimactic experience because everything else is top notch. Still spending the money only to have to take it apart to fix it... not a good initial experience. And really.... who you gonna call? Ghostbusters? Maybe that would be easier... how to contract Creality? No info anywhere... so... maybe being a computer engineer with access to YouTube will help. Although Crealty has upgraded the extruder shroud and housing as mine looks updated from what I have found in videos. If the blockage comes out easily and I can print, I will come back and update my review.

Easy setup and great initial outcome
This printer is solid and easy to use. I wish I had one when I was younger. However, its use crosses generations. I bought the printer for my daughter. With the help of some downloaded instructions the setup was easy and she completed it in no time (so a big thanks to all the folks who gave setup instructions). My daughter printed a couple of small pieces to assess the speed and functionality of the printer. All corners and edges came out smooth and we will continue to assess durability. I purchased multiple colors, the piece was beautiful with minimal filament loss. I would recommend this printer to others based on its initial use. We can comment later about above when we have used over time.

very pleased with purchase Important! -> Change voltage BEFORE turning on!! and other newbie tips.
MOST IMPORTANT - CHANGE THE VOLTAGE BEFORE YOU PLUG IN AND TURN ON!! I'm a Newbie to 3d printing. love this machine (still amazed me to watch) and it will last my growth in this space. Can print so many different filament types including wood. uses more power and is noisier than expected because of all the cooling fans. Not unreasonable. Needs a stable workspace with Wi-Fi or you have to use sneakernet and a dongle. needs a fair amount of power (think a stand heater or two's worth) so plan ahead. can't share outlet circuit with too many other devices. Comes with a small roll of white filament that's good for getting started and printing some test runs. may last 2-5 days. designing things is way harder than expected but lots of free tools and tutorials are available online . Prepare and enjoy the journey. Take your time setting it up and read every step. It's not hard but a little complicated, so you can make mistakes easily . comes with everything (all the tools) you really need. filament may last longer than you think, so buy sparingly (filament absorbs moisture and becomes ruined. Looking into a creality PI heater or a vacuum pack solution. . 3d printing will also require a lot of other goodies, so take your time and do your research. also recommend filament dryer. once you get going you will need cleaning solutions bed spray etc. and other things, so budget a little.

Creality kicks boo-tee
I switched from Flashforge to this Creality K1 and loved the experience so much I bout the K2 Plus (a nightmare, but another story). Other than the loading and unloading of filament being a bit of a hassle if you allow it to runout, literally everything else is amazing. Out of the box, connected to wifi and printed the little boat within 10 minutes. Printing my first print immediately after that. Different shaped but the same volume as the 5 year old Flashforge, but uhm, 3-4 times faster… it’s crazy. The Creality slicer is terrific, even if it may not be the best on the market, it has allowed me to do so much. I’m assuming TPU is a hassle for everyone and the K2 CFS won’t run it, but I’ve had a couple of successes with the K1 with unprepared TPU (just out of bag and on the printer). Has run virtually non stop since I got it and other than filament running out and TPU sucking, I can’t think of any issues I have had with this printer.

Extremely Disappointing – Unresolved Issues and Slow Support (solved)
I purchased the Creality K1C expecting a high-quality, high-speed 3D printer, but after just three months of use, it has become completely unusable. The printer now fails mid-print every time, consistently at the same height, no matter what I do. I have tried everything—replacing the extruder, nozzle, checking for clogs, adjusting belt tension, using only Creality PLA, and following every troubleshooting step provided by their support team. Despite all this effort, the problem has only gotten worse, with prints now failing within the first few minutes. What’s even more frustrating is the lack of effective support. I have been going back and forth with Creality’s support team for two weeks, providing videos, photos, and detailed explanations, yet there has been no real solution. They keep asking me to test different things, but nothing has worked, and I feel stuck in an endless loop of troubleshooting with no actual resolution. Now, I have had to wake up in the middle of the night just to try to get help, but the issue remains. At this point, I strongly believe my unit is defective, and I have asked for a replacement, but Creality has not taken any steps to resolve this properly. A 3D printer at this price should not fail this quickly, and customer support should be much more efficient in handling such issues. Update: Issue was solved by the support team.

Love it.
I am by no means an expert. I had a much less expensive 3D printer, and struggled with it. Assembly was tedious, calibration was difficult and questionable, and trying to print anything was a confusing throwback to feeling unprepared for the exam you forgot about. I never got a single successful print. My wife said "Screw this, we're spending a little extra, and getting you a nice one." OMG. The K1C. I LOVE IT. It's so easy. No assembly-- just take it out if the box, remove packing materials, take out 3 shipping screws, connect the screen, and boom. Done. The Creality app and online site make everything sooooo simple. Seriously. I do everything from my phone on the app. "Oooooo, that looks neat." Download, slice, print. Check on progress every now and then without getting off the couch-- and just hit the camera button to watch inside the printer. Looks good? Yup. Back to doing whatever. It's simple, it works, it's fast, it's easy.
