NO JOKE WOW WOW THIS WORKS!!!!!!!!!!
If you have true tinea versicolor and have been diagnosed by a dermatologist this stuff truly works if you use it consistently and follow the directions. It took around 3-4 weeks for my back to clear up but it worked. I’ve tried to ketoconzanole soap and the pills they give you at the doctor but this is effective without having to take the pills and damage your liver. I will continue to use this for the rest of my life!

It works be patient
So far it looks like it's working, I have a severe case right now as I do every couple of years. I can tell it's working because the areas least affected have gotten better. I have it all over my back chest and some spots on my face, the spots on my face have already gotten lighter 4-5 days in and so has my chest area. I know the back will take the longest so I'll actually be purchasing more. It initially smells bad but after a couple of uses the lavender starts to kick in and and it starts to smell better. I recommend it, and depending on the severity of your case it may take some time so be patient. I'm glad to have a natural option because I think I've become immune to the medication.(UPDATE I've purchased 2 more bars and it's definitely working, as I said I had a really severe case but I stuck to it and it it is definitely getting better I'd say 2 more weeks and I should be mostly clear at least in the chest area which has faded significantly).

Just Got it and rating for people interested in Smell specifically
It stinks, if you are wondering like "Oh ho hum, should I buy this" just be aware that it smells kinda similar to burnt hair but a gassy burnt hair smell, that's sulfur .persosnally, I only have used it once so far (just got today) and used it at night and tbh I'm glad I didn't use it before the day started because even with using another soap (tea tree oil based + mint) I'm not 100% sure that the sulfur scent is gonna subside.I think I read somewhere that ppl think that the sulfur smells goes away after a short period of time. I wouldn't bet on that since that's probably more than likely just olfactory fatigue setting in (your nose goes blind because the molecules of the scent are too big basically). The weird thing is that after using this soap I noticed all sorts of other discoloration appear besides the stuff on my skin I already was aware of so I suppose that could be a good or bad thing, I'm not sureI think it does a decent job on the lather as well which is good considering the price, you don't need much.At the end of the day nobody is going to be buying this because they like the scent, seriously you won't smell good. I have no idea if this works on my skin and I've tried a lot of different products so far OTC over the past 4 years but if this works then I'll be ok with it.I won't be using this 2x a day though, absolutely NOT! Going to work with even the slightest bit of scent from this soap is going to make people look at you like you have a problem. That's my rant

Was ineffective or not as strong as couple years ago
This is my second time ordering in 2026 Apr. My first order was back in 2024. This time it felt like less textured than the last time I ordered back in 2024, after few uses. After few showers the soap would have its grainy texture come out but not this time. Wonder if the composition changed. This time around it felt like my condition took a long time to resolve and no effect on the upper chest shoulder area where the patches stayed the same or grew more due to warm weather. I would look for another brand.

This soap works!
For 13 months I had a relentless skin condition of some sort (severe itching, rashes, bumps that looked like bites, hair loss and toenail loss etc). All treatments both prescribed and over the counter did not heal my skin.I ordered Naturasil TVR during the 13 month of my itching ordeal. The relief was immediate and lasted for 8 hours. After 3 days I was able to shower every 12 hours without intermittent itching. I continue to use this soap or the multi-purpose version of this brand on my arms, back, chest, feet and hands every time I shower. I still have scarring on the back of my arms (from whatever the bumps were) but they continue to fade. Most importantly, these areas don’t itch and no new bumps have appeared.I had tried “everything”. No other soap, prescription, cream, oral steroids or dietary/lifestyle changes worked on their own. My experience was that with one dose of prescribed steroids and using this soap immediately improved my symptoms. I wish I had better photos. Photo2 is how my foot looked like for several months. It had improved but still had fresh purple scarring. Photo 1 is of my completely healed foot after 3-4 days of using this soap! As in completely healed! If you are unsure about purchasing this soap, you can buy a single bar. It’s worth every penny of the $17. It is less expensive per bar to buy the 2 pack. I do compare prices from different sellers. I actually cut each bar in 1/2 because it disappears/dissolves quickly. I keep the bar I’m using on a dry wash cloth after each use as to not waste any. I have dry skin and some sun damage. The sun spots on my legs have dramatically faded which was an unexpected bonus with the Naturasil! Now that my skin has healed, I find I get the best results by regularly exfoliating my skin with a bath brush (from chest to toes) before applying the soap. This is a step I could not have even considered while my skin was inflamed. The soap is very drying. I only apply it to the areas of my skin that need it. Rinse well!Ultimately, I do not know what was going on with my skin. Although I was seen throughout that year by 2 dermatologists, neither ever took a skin/cell sample. So, I will never know. What I do know, is that I will use this soap daily as long as it continues to work. I hope if you are reading this and if you decide to try it, that it works for you as well.Good luck🍀

AMAZING for Poison Ivy RELIEF
This is the best stuff in existence. I’m hyper allergic to poison ivy, and this soap is the ONLY over the counter relief I have ever used three decades. I’ve been on steroids for poison ivy, tried calendula, tried calamine lotion, hydrocortisone, prescriptions etc. Nothing works like washing with this soap. As soon as I feel the itch of poison ivy I was the area with this stuff in the shower and throughout the day if I’m itching and it dries out the rash and takes the itch away instantly. I just wish I had this as a kid when my eyes would swell shut and I couldn’t bend my knees due to poison ivy swelling and rash. The scent is actually kind of satisfying once you get used to it. I really like it. It’s the smell of healing to me now. So grateful. Great lather and lasts a while for the size. It is expensive but I wouldn’t ever want to live without it.

Phenomenal soap! No-one wants to hear about my skin, but...
...this really is an unusually effective product. I've had recurring skin problems, including tinea, for decades, and have used lots of treatments--some successful, some not great. Since the most effective treatment I'd found (prescription selenium sulfide 2.5% lotion) was so nasty to use, I usually let the tinea go too long before treating it--the lotion definitely works, but it smells horrible, contaminates everything, and can really burn your skin if you leave it on too long, especially where the skin folds. That was a problem with my latest episode, when my eyelids developed scaliness and darkening that was making me a bit desperate: it was so bad it seemed like it must be something other than tinea (psoriasis? eczema? bacterial? mites? still not sure...), but since I knew sulfur soaps help with all sorts of skin problems, and my usual go-to lotion would be much too harsh to use on delicate skin, I tried this soap. After two weeks, I'm astounded at how well it works: the scaliness on my eyelids is almost gone, the discoloration seems to be fading, and the rest of my face--even my cracked lips--has a much smoother texture and more even tone. Skin feels very clean and, while slightly dry, much calmer overall, with less redness. (I'm guessing this treatment is helping with other skin conditions I hadn't been focused on--rosacea? Hard to tell with a ruddy, freckled complexion.)The soap does not burn your skin: I was cautious about leaving the lather on too long, but eventually found it caused no additional inflammation or peeling, and definitely works better that way. I can live with the scent, considering the benefits. Expensive, definitely: but I'm just so surprised at finding a product that actually works, I seem to be willing to pay extra--just ordered more. This is the fourth sulfur soap brand I've bought on Amazon, and hands down the best in every way.

Works well and have since reordered.

Okay I guess
Ive used this for a week. It has not get rid of my tinea versicolor. It did however make it less inflamed. Maybe it takes more time than a week to work. My skin is also still raised which indicates the fungus is still alive and well. So, I dont know if it is actually working.

First time use
Just got this soap. I have it pretty bad on my arms, shoulders, under boob, back and neck when I go tanning so I’m going to try this for 2 weeks to kill the fungus then start tanning again to see if the skin will finally start tanning like the rest of my skin. 🤞🏼Fingers crossed🤞🏼 I’ve tried everything..
