I saw these on TikTok and immediately added to my cart! This took me about 10 hours total to build and I loved it! I definitely recommend having modge podge, super glue (fast drying), small scissors and tweezers on hand. I did have some extra pieces left over too and they also included some “backup pieces”. The front park is very fragile so be careful popping it into place, I actually broke some of the wood pieces but nothing a little super glue couldn’t fix. Took me about 10 hours total from start to finish. Loved it so much I’m looking for my next one to put in my office.

All the pieces are so detailed and of good quality. The instructions are very clear. It's a lot of fun and turning out so cute!

I really wanted to like this project. I have a 14-year-old who I completed this project with in one day. Which means it is a one day achievable project. That being said, there are no stickers it’s all paper and you do a lot of cutting. It appears to be laser cut, and some of the pieces are very small so when you punch them out, they can break. Like cogs and tiny tiny pieces. There is no glue. if you can get past all of that, then this project is entertaining. It will keep you clipping paper, hunching out pieces assembling tiny furniture for at least a few days if you’re by yourself and one if you have help. We chose to leave some of the papers out of our diorama, and a few pieces did break that we had to glue back together and couple pieces broke that we couldn’t put back together. If I had to make any recommendations, I would say make sure you have glue nearby and a X-Acto knife for fine cuts.

I myself did not receive these kits, because they were ordered and sent to my 3 daughters for Mothers Day. However, all my girls reported back to me that they and the grandchildren were surprised and delighted with the projects. All three gifts were received on time and intact. I am looking forward to seeing the completed Book Nooks in my upcoming visits with my daughters in the next couple of weeks. In fact, one daughter reported this anecdote that definitively expresses just how much her Book Nook impressed her family…. Her 4 year old son (who is allowed limited screen time) actually chose NOT to watch a favorite show of his the day they received their Book Nook. He turned the TV off and returned to his mother to request they continue construction of their “little house.” Now THAT is a miracle for sure!

Great project gift

Had a great time building the kit. Pieces fit together very well. However, once put together the lighting that came with the kit did not work properly. Lights did not turn on, only flickered as the switch was switching back and forth. Kind of disappointing after spending about 8 hours building.

This kit was very fun to build. There are a lot of very small books and pieces, but if you are patient and take your time, the result will be something that you will be proud of. Since I was not in a hurry, I took the extra effort to paint the edges of pieces to make them look more realistic. People ask me how long it took to build, but I can only reply that I finished it in about 2 weeks and enjoyed the entire process. Highly recommended, but maybe not the best choice for your first book nook project.
