Works perfectly
Order this to help monitor the temperature under my camper while I am wintering in it and it works perfectly! At a glance I can see what the temperature is under my camper to know if my heat lamps are working. Im glad I purchased it! Highly recommended!

Not bad
The product I am reviewing is the Multifunctional Weather Station - Ka5A. For some reason, the link seems to take me now to the Ka3A instead.Anyway, the Ka5A is a nice weather station. Not perfect, but nice.Easy to read and somewhat accurate. I sat the outdoor sensor right next to the weather station. They differed by .6 degrees. I guess that is close enough.I liked how the outdoor sensor has a display. It is small, but it has one.The weather station screen is very easy to read. Bright and vibrant colors. It has two power options. Battery or plugged in.It says it sets time automatically. It claims to do so when first powered on. It didn't. Instructions say to hit a button for 2 seconds and it will try for 7 minutes. It didn't succeed. I let it sit over night and next to a window. It did not set. I thought it might be because the date needed to be set or the time was far too askew. So I set the date correctly, set the time 3 minutes off, and set the time zone correctly. I let it sit for 3 more days. I never corrected the time. So does it get its time via signal? IMO, no.Other than automatic time setting, the weather station is good.

Works with the Kalevol Ka3a weather station
This sensor seems to be better quality than the included sensor that came with the Kalevol Ka3a weather station. It has a three position channel selector and F/C selector switch. The LCD display is easy to read. It took a while to pair with the weather station but it eventually does. I only used the first channel and do not know if it is compatible with the other channels on the weather station. It seems to be accurate but my experience with Kabevol sensors it that they seem to read a little high. I will try it with lithium batteries to see how long it lasts.

Humidity readings are very inaccurate (item replaced)
I purchased a remote sensor and I see that its humidity readings are very inaccurate. They differ from the verified data by more than 12 units. After my complaint, a new Item was sent to me again free of charge. Now it's all ok

A must have for weather enthusiasts
This is a fun little tool if you've officially crossed the threshold into adulthood and suddenly realize how much you care about the weather forecast. Can I get the weather forecast every 5 minutes from my local weatherman, yes (shoutout to Rich). Do I also need to receive it from an indoor weather station? Also yes.First things first, this weather station has a premium display. Its good quality, aesthetically pleasing, and the color display is sharp and clean, not cheesy like some others. The sensor works well and nails both indoor/outdoor temps and humidity percentage. It even lets you know the humidity comfort levels by throwing in a smiley or frowny face. This station also has the moon phases which is a nice touch. Gotta keep an eye on that full moon if ya know what Im sayin. This is a practical and useful tool for adulting and I do recommend for those who are slowly becoming their father.

Great in home weather station
Great clock and weather station once you get it set up. Even with the best of instructions, I found myself having to stop and start over when I was setting up all the features. So here's what I recommend. Go ahead and place 2AA batteries in the outside remote. Plug in the main clock and make sure all the features are set according to your particular area before placing in the back up batteries. Again you will need 2AA batteries for this as well. If during the process you need to start over, all you have to do is unplug the clock and plug it back in and start from the beginning. If you have the back up batteries in place you will need to remove them to fully reset the clock. Therefore the reason I would wait until the clock is fully set before installing them. What you will notice is that when all the time and region settings are set, the outside monitor will sync with the clock unit. At that time, I would go ahead and place the backup batteries into the clock unit. What I've done to make sure that the outside remote is working properly is to leave it next to the main clock until both temp and humidity numbers match up. This may take a couple of hours, but so far, they are right on time with each other. Tomorrow I will mount the remote outside in a covered space where it will stay dry and not be in direct sunlight. Why no direct sunlight? I live in a trailer, if I were to mount it directly to the trailer in direct sunlight the temp gauge would pick up the surface heat reflecting off of the trailer rather than the atmospheric temperature. In other words, it would give a false reading. Odds are, I will leave the main clock in the bedroom, so by reading it, I'll know what to expect weather wise and be able to dress accordingly. In closing, I would also recommend taking your time with the clock as this particular model has many more features than your standard weather station styled clock. One feature that stands out is the forecast feature which I'm very curious to see how accurate it is. My hopes are that with the station being able to gauge the air pressure is that I'll be able to get a more reliable weather reading allowing me to stop relying on my cell phone app which is wrong most of the time. We'll have to wait and see on that, but so far I am very please with this clock and station. Thank you.
