Invincible: The Ultimate Collection Volume 12

The end
The conclusion of one of the all time great super hero series. One of the many things I prefer about creator-owned works like this is that they can end. It's not like the studio-owned characters who have to be continually re-launched and revamped, so that we've now seen the origin of Batman probably a hundred or more times. And how many times has he died and been reborn? What about Spider-Man? Jean Grey? Power Girl?Good stories end. They have a beginning, a middle, and an end. And if they're really good, we miss them and wish we had more. But we don't, and that's for the best.

GREAT ENDING TO AN EPIC TALE!
Invincible has been an consistent comic winner , story , art etc it never disappoints . Well if you've been along for the ride so far this is cause for sadness-THE END. But to get there we have to undergo loss, grief, tremendous pain & Death-but the payoff is satisfying and up-beat . If you're an completists or a fan you already know, if you're a fan of the current animated series and can't wait you do yourself a disservice if you don't get the other volumes first ! If you love comics and grand storytelling this series is what you want.

Invincible always deserves a 5 out of 5
Invincible (2003-2018), by Robert Kirkman, Cory Walker, and Ryan Ottley (Image)Championed as “the little book that could”, this series has been surprisingly consistent throughout its lengthy run. Nominated for multiple Eisners (including “Best New Series” and “Best Continuing Series”), what started as a guilty pleasure quickly turned into an enduring staple in my collection. Whether you have binged this series or been along for the whole fifteen year ride, it’s been fun, real fun. It’s a credit to the genre. I appreciate that even Walker recognizes Ottley’s superior art. The pacing of this book is a little fast. I would have welcomed them to allow some of the arcs to “breath” a little more (the characters are that endearing). Invincible always deserves a 5 out of 5.

I cried, why did it have to end?!
Perfect ending to such a great comic that's inspired me so much.Had so much fun with this series and will never forget it.I love how Mark(kirkman) finally takes the step to once and for all end the threat to his people, friends, and family without any guilt or hesitation. The series tied up well and satisfyingly. I couldnt ask for a more respectful ending for us fans.Thank you mr. Kirkman.

An amazing ending to an amazing collection of comics.
I have enjoyed Invinvible during all these years (more than 10 since I read the fist one!). Although is sad to know that this is the end, at the same time is very satisfying to see how well done is the closing of the story. Congratulations to the Writer and the Penciller. And thank you. 100% recommended!

NO! NO! NO!
Okay, my tantrum is now done.First of all, I do not understand why there are random reviews from the other "Ultimate Collections" here and why it is listed as being "5 in a 12 book series" when it's pretty clear it is #12 in a 12 book series.Excellent series from start to finish and very sorry to know that it is done... forever. It is certainly understandable but sad, nonetheless. As always, the writing and art is amazing and I love picking out details on subsequent readings that I missed the first time around.

Pay Attention Marvel and DC
Awesome and satisfying conclusion to the Invincible series. Kirkman ties up as many if not all loose ends, and Ottley's art is still solid. In my opinion, Invincible probably has been the most consistently entertaining comic series that I've ever read. It's been better than most mainstream books and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
