I was really impressed by this product. The items were packaged efficiently. Several people at my event asked where I got it. The compostable silverware was fantastic and the plates were sturdier than the other brands i used before.i highly recommend!!!

These compostable plates and utensils are not made of cheap plastic, or printed on paper with harmful dyes and chemicals that make their way into your meals. Yaaay! Compostable plates are made frente renewable sources and decompose naturally! This box has a whole stack of bowls and plates for you to use along with utensils. The bowl maintained its stiffness through a bowl of cold cereal, no problem. It was a little shallow though, so it doesn’t hold a hefty serving if you’re really hungry. The plate worked well with a dish of rice and curry chicken. In terms of durability, they are moderately durable, but they’re not as thick and “stiff” as the commonly advertised thicker paper plates that hold a full plate of barbecue beans and wet greens for example. You might need to use two plates to reinforce heavier servings. I accidentally tore the top smaller bowl as I was trying to detach it from the stack so that may be a consideration in terms of durability as well. They stack well and present well - plus they are kinder to our planet. I am all for it. I did the four rather than the five because I tore the smaller bowl merely by trying to pull it off of the stack, so I’m not sure how well they stand up during everyday use.
