S and - are shorted together
There's only 4 terminals to work with. "S" and "-" on opposite sides of the connect are shorted together, 0 ohms. I've seen the same thing with both the female and the male USB-C terminal block connectors.The dashcam USB-C cable I was trying to extend uses these two pins for separate purposes, so these do NOT work. Does not recognize that the backup camera is connected.And be careful, USB-C has 12-pins while this exposes only 4 of them. Some devices will use the other 7 pins.
