Triple-cut Nail File with Cuticle Pusher & Nail Cleaner, 9 cm. Made in Germany

I bought this little guy in October of 2012. Little did I know then that it would become one of my favorite items.First of all, this is NOT your typical emery board. Don't buy this to "polish" the tips of your nails. This, my friends, is a nail FILE. When I first got it, I thought I was being set up for disappointment. It came in a fairly cheap plastic case, was fairly small, and was extremely thin. I didn't think it could possibly hold out for very long.Well, I am coming up on 3 years and both the case and the file look brand new. Still performing like a champ.Pros:+ Long lasting.+ Shaves down your nail and takes off rough edges in seconds (I've used weekly filing instead of cutting them at times).+ Great size for fingers and toes.Cons:- Took a little getting used to. As stated, this is no emery board.

I bought this for cleaning dirt from under my fingernails. This product would be better if the tip was blunt. Be careful when using it, it caused throbbing pain under the tip of my fingernails after use. I eventually dulled the tip by rubbing it on a rock and it works much better now. I have to say, since I have dulled the tip, it is the best one I have used to clean dirt from under the nail.

This file is too small. I have very small hands & it is definitely not worth the money I paid for it. It looks like a child's toy. Came in a big box, a small envelope would have been more fitting. Not happy!!

I'm giving this file four stars because it is exactly what it's supposed to be: a think, high-quality nail file. My problem with it is that it's TOO thick; tt split my finger tip when I tried to use it. However, the cuticle pusher on the round end and the nail cleaner are great, so I'm going to keep it and look for another one that's thin enough for my dainty fingers. :)

It's triple cut so it will remove anything. It is strong so it will last and not bend. It is short so I don't stab myself or anything else. It is black so I can see the stuff in there and wash it out and it does not rust. The point is curved to perfectly align with the under side of my nails. I love this nail file. I have been using one that was triple cut, purchased in about 1956, lost and I thought irreplaceable but this file is even better.

There is two different versions of this file both are very different but both are good. Pay attention to weight. This is sort of a guy tool and course. I believe women would want a different type of file. The plastic case is crap and this product is not cheap. It would be nice in a longer version and rather easy to loose. However the Germans are very good at this type of thing and the curve on the tip is great.

I was interested in purchasing a replacement for my lost 10 year old steel diamond pattern nail file, and purchased the Blue Steel Triple-Cut Nail File (Solingen, Germany).This product is the best nail file I have ever seen, and the last you will need in your lifetime (unless you lose it). The file is literally jewel-like in the quality and precision of manufacture (like a fine watch). The feel is elegant, strong, and efficient.I highly recommend this product for durability and precision (worth the premium price)
