I purchased the HOTWAV TAB R9 approximately one month prior to writing this review. I wanted a good tablet that is rugged enough for my work. My initial impressions: Upon opening the box, I immediately noticed how heavy this tablet is in comparison to other tablets of similar size. The added weight is likely a result of the durability focused construction as well as a large battery. It feels satisfyingly solid in the hands. The Battery: The battery life is impressive! I have run this thing constantly for nearly 12 hours and I still have 40% battery remaining. If you’re an “average” tablet user, you can expect approximately 2 days worth of battery life with normal usage. Aesthetics: The TAB R9 feels like a solid piece of granite slate yet looks sleek in appearance. Function: When the screen is kept reasonably clean, the touch screen is very sensitive and responds very well. The loading of apps and programs is surprisingly fast and consistent for a tablet in its price range. Connects to WIFI and Bluetooth devices easily. Compatibility: Most Internet SIM card providers are not supported in the Tab R8. MINT sim is the one that I know works with the tablet. Be sure to check IMEI compatibility with the service provider to are considering. Camera: The camera is great for general purposes. However, if you are a “photographer” type minded individual, then this tablet leaves much to be desired. Camping light: Wow! Surprisingly bright. I am curious to see how long the lights will last before mechanical burnout however the performance is great. Conclusion: For the price, this thing exceeded my expectations. I wasn’t looking for a tablet for streaming, high end video editing or gaming. Just a solid tablet that didn’t suck and won’t break easily. The HOTWAV R9 definitely produced a great product that justifies a higher price range. Thanks for the great product HOTWAV!

Performance is flawless with 20GB of RAM The 2K display is stunningly crisp and bright, and the camera system captures incredibly detailed photos of my adventures. This tablet would be great for someone who uses it in rugged conditions. It is pretty heavy, very large, has a long battery life, and the camping light on the back is pretty bright. There is no way the camera is as good as it claims, because it is very blurry and low quality. The screen itself is also not very vibrant or high quality.

Es una muy buena tablet Android muy poco conocida en México pero me arriesgué a comprar en la primera vez la Hotwav r7 y me pareció genial así que no pude resistir la tentación de adquirir esta tablet Hotwav r9 que es un poco más grande de 11 pulgadas y hasta la fecha ha funcionado muy bien. La recomiendo.

Perfecto se la puede usar con chit de celular

Tiene algunas fallas en el sistema, pero son mínimas, al tacto se atora con algunas ventanas, pero el prometido límite de memoria es increíble.
