This size is biggest that will flow through my harbor freight hlvp (the harbor freight purple gun- around $20) spraying at +\- 45 psi- the carrier is gel coat that has been thinned to max.People who do boat restoration for a living think the gun is too small- but this is not my first project, and I only have to please myself.It looks so pretty, and the next steps are to spray clear coats to bury the glitter- and lots of sanding.It is pretty on the black as others recommended- you can’t go wrong with this metal flake.

The media could not be loaded. 4tspn of flakes in 6oz 2k clearcoat over rustoleum gloss black! What an amazing product, great quality and amazing shine and sparkles, video does no justice but still looks amazing on vid. Cheap Harbor freight gun did the job!! First time ever using flakes, mixed easily and would love to use their other colors soon!!

Wish I could show in a picture, but the white epoxy pool paint was impossible to look at while the pool was empty and the camera does not pick up the flake with water.I used half a bag of this per gallon of paint. There is so much flake. It is so pretty in the sun light. There is a beautiful sparkle. If I did it again, the only think I would change would be to mix in more colors of flake.

Bag was open. Glitter everywhere.....

I’d give the flake 5 stars all day long it’s great stuff! But! The bag was not sealed and it was simply put in a plastic envelope which allowed the flake to escape. I have flake everywhere where I didn’t want flake. My wife has flake on her, the mail person has flake on them, and my mailbox is forever bedazzled.

I ordered this for a guitar project, and understand I painted cars for 20 years so I know my way around paints. Although I never had a chance to spray a car with glitter, I thought I would try it out on a bass. I asked for help from users, specifically about base colors. I wanted to know if you needed to spray it over a similar color(purple) and the response was NO. Bad answer. I should have known. I used way more than needed because the base was blue, not purple ,and you could see any tiny spot not covered. Do yourself a favor, spray this over a color similar to the glitter color and avoid the problem I had.
