Very good magnetic capability, decent build quality, better than most big box offerings
So these aren't amazing looking or especially well built magnetic catches but what they do offer is an amazing bargain with strong magnet catching ability.I have these installed on around 25 doors in our kitchen. Installation was pretty standard and they just work. They are strong enough to keep our nearly 2 year old from opening our kitchen doors and that is a nice bonus for me.When did I notice the true value of these catches today? I noticed them when I needed to add a couple more for other doors in the house. I went to the big box retailers and not only were the prices higher but they were sold in 1 piece increments. Conveniently being at the store I purchased replacement catches thinking they would be of equal magnetic ability and I was in for a shock. When I got home I installed 2 of the new catches from the big box on doors similar to our other kitchen doors and they barely caught at all and would open at the slightest tug. I did a test on our dryer, sticking these and the new BB ones and these Liberty catches had way more sticking power and their magnets were of a larger size. This was with a cost lower than BB!So to summarize, decent build quality, great performance and in the end that is what mattered more to me. The price is excellent as well considering BB stores were charging $.90 to 1.50 for their cheapest white standard catches.

Great value, good product, installation easy but get these tips...
OK I wanted to redo my review of 3 stars after discovering some user error. I originally thought the screws for the plate provided were the wrong size. It is just they are all jumbled in there with the other screws. Here are some tips using this product:* Use some scissors and cut 3 sides off the packaging to make a fold back lid.* Sort your screws into the two types so you do not mix* Cover anything they may drop into like a sink drain, because they are small and you will drop them* lay magnet on shelf , the close the door slowly to position* the metal plates have a front and a back - the pointed corners go towards the wood - I thought badly cut, but nope helps hold in.* Pre-drill the holes because any pressure you apply on the little screws will send them flying* May want to use stronger screws of your own, but they may stick out, so install hole higher than magnet* Do not forget that your cabinet door may stick into the cabinet a bit. They provide steel screws so the magnets grab your screw every time you go to tighten the screw... OK but aluminum screw may be more expensive, so I can deal with it.Stronger but uglier install becasue not flush screw head - use 8-18 3/4 self driving screws that worked well as replacements.Set aside more time than you think you will need, I tried to do this while making breakfast. Quickly realized I needed some time to work on it alone. These are best for older cabinets, I would not install these on brand new kitchen cabinets.

Perfect for RV Use
I recently remodeled my fifth wheel trailer, and the stock rolly-ball door catches HAD TO GO. They were failing one by one, and they wouldn't have looked right with the new cabinet colors anyway. These magnetic catches worked PERFECTLY for my RV cabinet doors. The one thing that might give you a problem are the screws meant to be used in the magnetic itself. There are two different types of screws in the package - 2 for each magnet and 1 for each metal plate. Screwing into the back of a cabinet door can be frustrating since they are usually such solid wood. You might need to 'carefully' drill a pilot into the door first. Also, if you use the small screws in the back of the door, you will most likely strip them out when they are halfway in... talk about a headache! I ended up using left over screws from the old catches, but not any screws will work - the head needs to be flush enough that the full plate makes contact with the metal. The magnet catches can be adjusted to ensure the door is grabbing when shut but not sticking out too much. I use two of these on the larger closet doors and one on pretty much everything else. All of the doors stayed in place on our last trip from Illinois to Florida, and we have a LOT of stuff in there that could be bouncing around!

Good Value and Quality Magnetic Cabinet Holders
This is a great product. I thought about getting one of the overbuilt super magnets, but then it would be difficult to open. This is a very good quality and easy to install product, which will hold any kitchen cabinet, or small cabinet door. You just need to first close the door, then put the item where it will be mounted, mark the first screw hold in the middle (so you can adjust later if needed). Then screw in the first, then mark the second screw in the middle and then, place the metal contact on the magnet. Then close the door again. Make sure you have it in the proper direction, concave side facing you, and metal contact will be larger on the top side. Then, mark the hole, I just pressed in my Phillips head screw driver to mark and start each screw. In about 5 minutes you are done. I'm not sure why anyone is complaining about the screws, they seem to be a perfect size and plenty strong. No pre-drilling is required. I would NOT recommend an automatic screw driver, just use a typical hand held phillips head screw driver for the job and you are good to go.

Gets the job done
I installed these catches in our rental apartment's cabinet as a pro-bono upgrade for the management... and they fulfill their purpose as a cat deterrent. It is super affordable, and it looks like the savings were on the plastic chassis and the included screws. The magnets are actually good and legit, and the catches do their job, they're just not as robust - not sure if they'd last for decades. The only issue I really had was when I broke 2 screws trying to mount them into a wooden cabinet - even with a pilot hole. It was isolated to one spot, though. The force of the magnets is just enough. As said, our cat lost interest in opening the cabinet with them installed. However if you're looking for *strong* catches, invest more.

Keeps problem cupboard doors and drawers closed
If you have cupboard doors and drawers that refuse to stay closed these magnetic catches keep them from swinging open.

Included hardware too small!!! :(
You definitely get what you pay for...be prepared to have to buy your own hardware to mount the magnetic plate. The supplied screw heads are too small!! They go right through the mounting hole in the magnetic plate. So the initial price is cheaper than many others on here...but add the drive to hardware store and $5 for wood screws that will fit and suddenly these become some of the more expensive closures on here at wat less quality. You’re better off buying different ones from the start! I don’t recommend.

Good Value
These look and feel cheap. At first I was a little worried about how they would hold up. Four and a half months of use and I have to say they are doing what they are supposed to without issue. I have mounted these just under my counter to keep the animals from opening the cupboard doors. The magnets are good and strong and the animals haven't enough strength in their little paws to pull the doors open.

Good deal and they work great.
This is the best price that I could find and they come with the screws and plates, but be careful, there are two different sized screws for the magnet and for the plate. Also, as a bonus, the magnet casing comes apart. So you can just used the magnet and magnet plates for smaller jobs. There is a hole in the center, so you can mount them without the pretty plastic part.

A bit too “economy”
A bit more “economy” than I was hoping for; didn’t hold as well as I needed. If you have cabinets that require a firm hold, you may want to find something more substantial. The enclosed screws were also very frustrating and clearly not meant to self-tap.
