The candy I chose is the original flavors I grew up on and love today. Flavors are green apple, watermelon, cherry, grape and blue raspberry and they are so tasty and the smell of each piece is awesome. They take time to melt on my tongue, they are fun size and there is absolutely no chew factor at all. They are hard candies and they stay that way until they dissolve. I call them fun size because after I hand them out the kids think it's a fun treat and they stay fresh in the bags/wrappers until your eat them. I have had some of new flavors, but they aren't as good to me as the originals. Best price for a 5-lb bag of Jolly Ranchers! I never used candy as rewards when I taught before, but was told that when I moved to middle school, Jolly Ranchers are highly prized among middle schoolers. Sure enough, many kids preferred one Jolly Rancher over other tangible rewards for review games, and other times when I gave out incentives. The only issue was that the blue Jolly Ranchers went first and were still sought after even when gone.
