Best grass seed product I've ever used
This mix actually works amazing! It took a couple weeks before anything sprouted but once it did it's very full and strong. I bought several other brands and didn't have anything near the results of this one. I didn't think it had enough seeds(seemed like mostly mulch) but once it sprouted there is more than plenty of sprouts. Nice thick grass finally!

It has to be 70 degrees both day and night!
Sprinkled this out in April, in scarified areas that had been damaged by concrete guys’ MudBuddy. Has not done a thing, except in a very small 3in by 15 in strip. My 15 ft by 5 ft areas are still naked. I talked with some local salespeople at HD and they said Bermuda grass is hard to grow unless it is at least 70-80 degrees Both day and night. April is too soon, and they said I wasted my money on expensive birdseed. So, don’t even try it until it is between these temps All the time. Like May. But I won’t try again as my money is spent. Not something that fits neatly into 30 day guarantees. Hugely disappointed as in other states I have tried Scott’s fescue reseeding with good success. And only use Scott’s fertilizers. I found that other brands burned my fescue lawn in other states. While I am at it, since I rarely give reviews good or bad, I am also disappointed that Scott’s discontinued their Snap On Spreader. I thought it was a great product, and superior to their regular spreader. I didn’t realize that they stopped making the Snap On bags, so now my Snap On spreader is like Windows 7. (Had my household in storage for 3 years, so never looked for the product during that time.) Ok, I I’ve had my say.

Decent product, but not very versatile.
I've learned a lot about grass seed in the last couple of years. That is the inevitable result when trying to grow grass in Phoenix, AZ.Grass seed in general tends to get low ratings here on Amazon, especially the varieties that are advertised to grow in harsh conditions like a typical Phoenix summer. The caveat on this is that if the conditions are harsh, it takes extra care to grow vegetation no matter how hardy that vegetation is.This particular product, at least in the hot Phoenix sun, has a specific purpose that it works well for. Every Spring, as my bermudagrass comes out of dormancy, there are inevitably spots that don't come back. As long as these spots are relatively small and surrounded by healthy grass, this product works well to fill in those places. However, there are some specific steps that need to be taken.First and foremost, you have to clear all of the dead grass out of the area that needs to be filled. I also find that it's helpful to get in there to break up the existing dirt a bit so that some of this mulch mix can mingle with the existing soil. Then, you have to water liberally for at least a week. Essentially, until the grass is at least an inch or two long, you do not want the mulch mix to dry out completely at all. For me, this required two daily waterings. The established parts of my lawn get watered daily during the hottest parts of the year (and every other day when the high temps are staying around 100 or less). My results for smaller areas have been good. I have one larger area that I planted, and the result was that grass grew, but it is not very dense at all. I'm going to have to go in there with more of this product in a few days to try to fill in the bare spots because at least that area has filled in enough so that this product can do what it is good at. This gets tricky, though, because established bermudagrass does not like the excess water that it takes to get new bermudagrass to germinate. Therefore, I have to give it at least a couple of weeks for the established bermudagrass to get back to normal before I start to heavily douse it again. My recommendation is that if you have more than, say, a 2-3 square foot area to fill in, you're going to want to get some actual seed and go through the process of thatching, planting, and dressing to get it to grow properly.
