Great kit but not for beginners

A great crochet kit.Firstly I love my little pony and these amigurumi are so well constructed and look very much like the original ponies which is great.The book includes comprehensive instructions on the basic crochet steps required to complete the ponies as well as over 10 full patterns.The basic pony shape is the same for all of the ponies which means that you get lots of practice on the main components of the ponies. It also means you have a blank adaptable canvas to add to what you require beyond the original pony patterns.The amigurumi do work up bigger than expected they aren’t pocket sized like I imagined but this is not a bad thing!So easy to follow the patterns and the ponies are very well constructed with great instructions for each element.You get enough yarn to work up twilight and rainbow dash and a hook to start you off also stuffing so when the kit comes you’re good to go.The stuffing will not complete both ponies if you want to stuff firmly but it’s enough to start you off.I wouldn’t say this was a beginners kit as there are embroidery and construction techniques that are quite complex.I love the book it’s a great kit and I’m super thrilled I bought it.

Worth buying for the book alone
Dont buy this thinking you will get all of the ponies worth of stuff it's only really for maybe 2. I got it for the patterns and the ideas and I'm not disappointed

Bad yarn and US crochet terms
Fun book with lots of patterns but the yarn with the kit is very poor quality and splits easily, I will have to use my own yarn to make up the patterns!The book is also in US crochet terms but they do provide instructions for all stitches used along with a conversion chart!

Lovely kit
It’s actually harder than I thought as I’m still learning how to crochet fancy items.My daughter is going to attempt it as I love My Little Ponies.The actual kit is fabulous and contains everything you need.If you’re an experienced crochet person this is for you.

not enough wool
Wool is poor quality and splits too easily. Not enough of main colour for either pony couldn't complete rows 15-20 or wings for rainbow dash main body and rows 16-20 and unicorn horn for twighlight sparkle main body and no information on wool in the pack to get exact matches so will have to buy fresh wool and start again. Also not enough stuffing will only do 1 and a bit ponies. Book is good, instructions are explained well with illustrations for stitches but doesn't state how much wool is needed for the ponies.

Un kit increíble y muy completo!
Este producto es excelente, eso si, considero que hay que tener experiencia con el crochet y amigurumis, no es un kit para principiantes, además de ello, me hubiera encantado incluyera el material para realizar todos los personajes (Solo viene el material para dos) sin embargo considero que la calidad, contenido y presentación son los adecuados, muy buena experiencia realizando los Muñecos!!

Gut, doch zu wenig Wolle
Grundsätzlich ein tolles Set, nur reicht die blaue Wolle nicht für ein ganzes Pony (Rainbow Dash) und die lilane Wolle auch nicht.
