Nice Christmas Display and mirror box - 2 in 1 display!
My daughter (preteen) and I put this together in about 2 hours. She found the pieces and I placed the pieces into place. The pieces were smaller than I thought. Sometimes I felt that I needed tweezers! I also thought that i should glue some of the pieces to ensure that they do not fall off, but the blocks fit quite snug and well so no glue needed.Only real trouble or challenge was keeping the tree branches on the tree stem while attaching the other tree branches. Also the Instructions were easy to understand but it is a sheet (one piece of paper) as opposed to a book type instructions. The instructions are laid out on this piece of paper which sometimes we would get a bit lost on what step we are on. We managed and got through it though. The box is a complete mirror and the building pieces are enclosed from all side. No open spots. Everything is double taped together. If the Lights stop working (ie they break) you will have to take apart the box and insert new lighting. Without the lights, you will not see the display. When the lights are "off" the box becomes a box mirror.Overall we found this tree mirror kit super fun and cute. It will now sit on our mantel every Christmas.

Instructions are not clear
I have set it aside for the moment. The instructions are okay for the building block portion. The blocks are also okay for the price. Trying to get the tree to stay together has been interesting. I joked with my husband I was thinking about getting the kragle out. Once I became frustrated with the mirrors, I have definitely decided on using the glue. There is no purpose in not using it. I have messed up the bottom mirror. There are no real instructions regarding the mirrors or the removal of the film. The instruction sheet states to remove protective film from both sides of the mirrors. The first one I removed and one side is completely sticky. After returning to seller page, I found instructions about returning the blue protective film if this occurs because too many layers were removed. Too late. I am glad I stopped. The rest of the mirrors are still intact. I have to keep reminding myself of the low price for this kit. I cannot expect name brand quality.

So much fun to put together
The media could not be loaded. Keep in mind that these are little blocks, so it takes patience to put them together. This was not difficult at all, and it only took a total of about 6 hours. It's really a cute set, with a variety of decorative pieces. The mirrored box and battery-operated lights make it so nice to display for Christmas. The mirrored box is a little challenging to assemble, but it's well worth it. The directions are super easy to follow, but I wish they were in a booklet instead of a giant double-sided sheet. A booklet would be easier to handle. There are some extra pieces, which is nice, and they all fit together well.

Cute and fun build, but quirky
The media could not be loaded. I had a lot of fun with this build, especially on the presents and decorations. Just so many tiny details! The assembled tree is very cute and reasonably sturdy, although my mailbox did fall over about the time I got the mirror box sealed, and I'm not going back in there to fix it.The mirror box isn't easy to assemble. The mirrors have plastic on both sides that you need to peel off, and some of the mirrors are sticky on one side after removing the plastic. Not sure why. Anyway, the mirror corner pieces are tedious, and no matter how you do it you'll have to fight to install the sixth side. Nonetheless, I manged to do it in about five minutes. The infinity effect is actually quite good, and looks really cool, but it requires a dimly lit room, and for the Christmas tree lights to be on. Speaking of, my set came with two strings of lights. I'm not sure if it was supposed to, but it pretty much needed both of them to get decent coverage on the tree. If you put the cube in a brightly lit room and turn off the Christmas tree lights you almost can't see inside it at all.
