it looks big in the picture but that's due to the mannequin's head being small. I ordered lavender and it came pink. All that said it doesn't slip off during the night! I will probably be getting a bigger one in the future for my hip length hair though. I kinda have to stuff it all in there.

I purchased this because it was supposed to be extra large. It is normal size! For those of you who have a lot of natural hair like I do and may be interested in purchasing this, it will not fit all of your hair, unless you have it in twists. I wasted my money, as you cannot return this product! The material does feel nice, on the positive side. But what does that matter when I can't even wear it?

Received the COCOSILK sleep cap yesterday. So far so good. I love the design with the elastic in the back and the three flaps to tighten and adjust . I hand washed before use, although they say you can machine wash. The quality seems good, obviously will have to see how it holds up with use. The fit is on the small side but I feel that it will be okay since you want it to stay on your head at night. I will update my review after a couple weeks.

After just a few nights I can already tell the difference. My hair is sooooo soft and luxurious.

I’m wearing it to protect my hair, which has been breaking off due to illness (or possibly the medication used to treat said illness.)I thought I might find it hot or uncomfortable. I don’t. It stays on my head overnight almost all the time and isn’t overly warm or otherwise annoying.I wear a sleep mask, too, and that is more noticeable on my head while I sleep (in case that comparison helps another sensitive soul.) I put on the bonnet when I get in bed, then put the sleep mask over the top.I’m not certain that the long strings are really necessary, nor how they are intended to be worn. I cross them behind the back of my head (at the nape of the neck), then up and over and tie a bow on top above my forehead. I look goofy, and the ties slip off by morning, but the cap stays on regardless.I launder the cap with other silk items (winter base layers, nighties, etc.) on a gentle machine cycle. It’s been only a month or so, but it seems to hold up just fine. I air dry silk items on a rack I put over the tub.I can’t tell if my hair has improved at all, but I don’t wake up with any negative difference in how it looks/feels. Since the cap is non-irritating to wear, I will keep wearing it until it wears out.If I feel my hair improves, I’ll try to update this review. I suspect this will be a very long term experiment, though.UPDATE:After about six months of use, the cap still looks like new. I launder it once per week by machine with other delicates, and I hang it up to dry.On all but the hottest nights of summer, it remained comfortable enough to wear.My hair is perhaps healthier, but certainly not worse. I wish I could be more helpful on this front, but I don't have an answer. At least I'm sure I'm not tearing out my hair now because I'm sleeping with it covered.As an aside, this cap fits perfectly well beneath my new CPAP machine headgear. It should prevent the straps from a CPAP mask from getting dirty or damaging fragile hair.
