Great for Monarchs!
Easy to prepare & store in fridge. Mine love it!Works for me. I put some on a q-tip (dip it in nectar) & hold it up to them & they start drinking right away & usually jump on my q-tip & then I introduce them to the feeder I made.I have had no problems w/ this food or nectar. They have all taken to it & now feed themselves w/ out me using my q-tip method. Try it. It works!

Works great the butterflies loved it
When the butterflies hatched they went right to the nectar dish and began eating it. Good product when you don't have many flowers for the butterflies to survive on.

I’m still waiting….
…..for butterflies to be attracted to the feeder with this potion in it. The jury is out but it’s not looking good since it’s been 4-6 weeks….

Perfect for Rearing Monarchs
I bought this nectar mix to have on hand in case bad weather prevented me from being able to release one of my monarchs for more than 24 hours after emerging from a crysallis, and it has come in handy many times over the summer. Not only that, this stuff kept an injured monarch that couldn't be released back into the wild alive and well for over 5 weeks in captivity. The butterflies seem to prefer it over honey water and sugar water, and I like that it has more of the nutrients that they need than other options do. I highly recommend it for butterfly rearers and anyone who takes in an injured butterfly and needs something to keep it alive and healthy.
