1/2" Float Ball Valve Adjustable Mini Water Level Control Valve Automatic Water Filler Shut Off Ball Valve for Water Tank Caravan Aquaroll Water Feeder Ponds Hydroponic System

I have a Philip's saeco bean to cup coffee machine which I have to fill the water reservoir manually- it's a chore! This plastic float valve fitted perfectly into the reservoir. I had to drill three holes to be able to route a water pipe through the rear of the machine to the float valve and connect to a water pipe under the sink - it works brilliantly, the water now fills automatically! I did fit two isolating valves, one just before the pipe enters the rear of the coffee machine and one at the water pipe under the sink where I joined the existing pipework.

Someone else fitted for us, but we had no complaints about the product and it worked well when tested after fitting.

Good size ball cock fairly well made. Unfortunately would not shut off the water completely on the set level.

The float's thread broke off when unscrewing it - I had a spare otherwise would have had to return. Te plastic used seems to be too soft for a threaded joint.No method of sound dampening as water comes out on top of float arm, not below it.

I used this flow valve as a top up supply to my pond. It fundamentally does the job but seems to constantly drip feed. Not a problem in this application but could be a nuisance for some users

This is an exact replacement for the ATO float valves used in Red Sea aquariums at 1/4 the cost. The Red Sea valve-to-tubing adapter screws in perfectly. The angle adjusting screw shown in the photos is stainless steel and should present no problem in the seawater environment. To prevent frequent clogs and blockages I enlarge the hole in the valve body a bit which extends the time between cleanings.

I bought this to replace a float valve on my 3 pond water feature. It is used to keep the lower pond at a set depth as the circulation pump moves water to the top pond. The water flows from pond to pond over small falls. The valve provides a good flow of new water when needed but shuts off completely when the correct level is reached. Much better than the original float valve I used.
