Lightweight and comfortable
These have been my go to running/walking shoe for over 15 years. I have a generally neutral to slightly overpronating gait. Tried the Brooks equivalent but returned them due to knee, foot, hip pain. I really like how lightweight the GT-2000 is compared to the more expensive models. I had the last model with the new thin tongue and actually like it. Very comfortable on the upper foot and cuts down on the weight of the shoe. Only complaint is the limited selection of colors. The black/white appears to be an off white, so did not get my usual. I got the midnight with orange as it is the closest to black. Very nice color.

I am a huge fan of my ASICS GT-2000 running shoes.
I have been running in this brand and model of shoe for over 15 years, and this iteration continues the great performance. They are light, yet durable, and true to size and width. I take a 2E width, and these still feel great on the feet after a long run. I typically get about 500 miles of hard-surface running out of them before retiring them to "leisure" shoes. I slightly pronate, and these have always felt great on my feet. Easy on the knees and hips, too! Will definitely be buying these for years to come.

1 hour review
Normally I would review something I care about after giving it some time, but after spending an hour in them these are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. Not to say they're the most comfortable shoes in existence, I'm just going off my own experience.I am a naturally wide foot, I only got a size 12 regular because the color/style I wanted them in wasn't in wide.Went a size longer than my normal and the fit is actually quite fine. The heel is a plush while walking, while the arch stays firmer.I was going to use this for running but I'm probably going to get a second pair, one for day-to-day use and one for running.I might have trouble convincing myself to take them off to sleep tonight.

Outstanding Shoe – Definitely Would Buy Again
These have been my daily shoes for about 5 months now. I was concerned with quality because it looks like they're using slightly cheaper materials, presumably to keep costs down, but quality hasn't been an issue. (The tongue is particularly noticeable.) The shoes are holding up great. These shoes also help reduce the pain from the neuroma and neuropathy in my feet so I can walk more comfortably. My only complaint is the colors, they're terrible. Thankfully they had a plain black. What I really wanted to address is how to buy proper fitting shoes. #1 Go to a good running store and have your feet computer analyzed. They should be able to scan both your feet and your gait. The computer will then give you top picks for shoes of the proper size that work best with your foot/ankle issues. #2 Try a couple pair on and then order what works best for you. The computer analysis is critical to help you get the right shoe for your feet.

Great for pavement, not so much for scrambling
Heel is too wide for my particular stride (which twists the heel just prior to push off). The cushioning is almost too much (great for paved surfaces, not good stability for scrambling or lateral exercises). Quality is same superb as always.

Great shoes
I have been wearing the ASIC GT Series of shoes since the 10 model. I pronate and the stabilization structure is perfect to help balance things out. This is my second pair of the model 13, but I have at least 10 pairs from years ago when I started with the 10s. They are really durable and provide me comfort when I am walking sites for many hours. The arch support is good, not to high and not too low. I bought these all black shoes to wear on business calls where I will be walking a lot. As long as they keep making a quality shoe with good correction for my pronation, I will keep buying them. Great shoes.

sneakers are piece of garbage
No stars. I bought these shoes on 2/21/25. The inside is falling apart. I wear these as my everyday shoes and I do take a walk about 18 miles a week . Their is a hole inside the heel and it cause bad rubbing on heel. I having been buying ASICS for the last 15 years and never had an issue. I guess they are making them to be crap now. I contacted ASICS and sent them pictures and they said issue was not a warranty issue. Well they are falling apart after 2 months. Guess I will have to find a now brand now.

Total Fit Change After More Than 25 Years
The GT has been around in some iteration since the late 1990s. In my mind they have essentially used the same lasts to build the shoe since that time. Materials and technologies have changed obviously, but the essential qualities, design and purpose of the shoe has not changed. So much so, that after 5 years of wearing this model, I never had to try on a pair I just ordered a new pair, and went on down the literal road---until this model release. The fit is narrower, the toe box no longer wide. The heel is different and the ride just isn't there for me. I went back to the previous year model, which was hard to find but the 12 had all the properties of the GT line that I've enjoyed since the late 90s. I've seen some similar complaints in some you tube reviews, so I know mine is not a singular complaint. We'll see what comes next from Asics and hopefully they respond to their customers.
