GroutMaster Tile and Grout Cleaner 6 lbs

This stuff is awesome! You may think it's expensive but you only need a tiny bit and goes A LONG way. My entire basement is tiled with heated floors and I've cleaned probably over 800 sf and only used two scoops lol. I think this can will outlast me. Definitely worth the buy, cleans excellent, and CARPETS TOO!

If you clean tile & grout professionally, then this is what you need.If you're a homeowner then beware. This works great but requires a lot of rinsing to remove the soil & chemical residue.Work in small areas and rinse throughly. DO NOT allow the cleaning solution to dry.

Wow, this is a two step process that really cleans your grout. I had a small area of grout that I wanted to start with to see how it worked. I had been previously using comet with bleach, making a slurry, using this with a grout cleaning brush, letting it sit for 10 minutes, cleaning it all off, then using a solution of bleach for 10 minutes, and finally cleaning this off; this process does work, but it is a lot of effort. With this new product, I made a slurry, applied it with a grout brush, let it sit for 10 minutes, wiped it off, and then finally applied a solution of vinegar to neutralize this new cleaning agent before finally wiping it off. Much easier. When the vinegar solution dried, it left the grout consistently clean (using my old method, I might have had to repeat the process in a particularly bad area).Caution: I would recommend using gloves, and this stuff is a strong base which you need to keep from drying and to fully neutralize with vinegar, which is an acid. The is instructions do tell you to do this. I would also mention that you want to keep it away from cabinet finishes, which makes using this in a tight kitchen space more challenging (I used a lot of paper towels and had a bucket handy to put them in while I was working at floor level), but easier in a larger more open space.

I've used this product for a couple years now so I already know it works, and it works fine. Best I've ever used. I gave 5 starts not for the product( though it's deserving 5 stars) but for how fast I got it. I ordered it on a late Monday afternoon and amazon said I wouldn't get it till Friday, no biggie, though I needed it for a Thursday job. Totally my fault for not realizing I was out, and ordering it to late. However to my utter suppose I received it Wednesday!!! Wasn't expecting that nor did I order express shipping, now thays the kind of service I will recommend all day every day.

Grout in countertops were pretty yucky. Used another grout cleaner on one counter, but it didn’t do a good job - even leaving on for a few hours. Reviews were good for this grout cleaner & even though it was pricier, application, clean up & the job it did was worth the price. It really cleaned all my counters fairly easily & it doesn’t take much as you add the mix to warm water in a spray bottle. Likely have enough to last a lifetime. Wish it came in smaller containers for less money.

After using this product once, I do not see where the grout is any cleaner. Will try it again and change my review if it actually cleans the grout.

I want to start of saying I haven’t used the cleaner! I didn’t get to use it cause it arrived super damaged. Lid was completely snapped of and crack bottle. Most of the product had spilled out of the tub and out of the box. I got like 3lbs of cleaner if that. Hopefully I can get it refilled or something. Expensive especially for half the product.

It helped a lot with this dirty a** shower that was in my clients property. I was wanting to preserve the tiles, because the house is from the 1950’s and the client said if I could get it clean then it’s too be kept. I did two coats of this cleaner. Three scoops with 1gal hot water in a sprayer (a pump sprayer for pesticides normally), then went back through with another coat (5scoops, 1gal of hot water). I also used a corded drill with cleaning brush attachments. Since the shower walls are so old, I’ll have to come back through with grout refresh and new grout in some areas.All together the product did an awesome job on the floor, but it still took some arm strength even with a corded drill to help.
