FORD Sync 3 YES - Hyundai NO
ANDROID AUTO AND DEX Works with FORD sync 3 almost perfect. Only messes up when switching phones. NOT a good fit for my Multiple Hyundai systems. DEX works, but Android auto is horrible to get connected each boot up. Too many hrs invested in customer support or trouble shooting to count.

Samsung DEX with all my apps in my car (and Wireless Android Auto)
I have been looking for an Android Auto Wireless Adapter for some time. Unfortunately, my KIA EV6 only had wired AA, but always working with the cable in the QI charging cradle is simply awkward. I came across the adapter from AutoPro X by luck.I usually use the adapter in Android Auto mode for driving and yet regularly (e.g. at charging stops) in DEX mode. For example, to watch videos or generally to have access to ALL!!! apps. The adapter runs (with the latest software version) without any problems - even Video playback runs without stuttering and sound in-sync!Android auto starts quickly, and I usually have the navigation and music 20 meters after the garage exit. After the first pairing (which takes a little longer) Samsung DEX (Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra) is also quickly available (it is also the case that DEX on the smartphone takes a few seconds to start). For DEX 2 steps are necessary:1. switch AutoPro X to DEX mode2. start DEX on the smartphone (easy to do via quick settings)Advantages:+ Android Auto wireless+ All apps via DEX+ Updates via Android appDisadvantages:- When plugged in, the device always starts (this is probably the case with KIA)- Display in KIA is too small (lol)- Only available in white (I would prefer black/grey - is more discreet)Remark:- With an outdated firmware version, the display in my KIA could only be scaled to the full screen (i.e. distorted). This can now (again) be adjusted as desired via the DEX settings!I ordered now a second unit for the car of my wife :-)(Sorry 4 my english)

Overcomes Android Auto limitations
I recently bought a used Nissan Rogue which came with Android Auto. I was bummed that it required you to plug your device in so I started searching for a device that would allow me to connect wirelessly. I found and bought the Terunsoul Android Auto device. It worked nicely but when I realized that a small subset of my apps could display on Android Auto, I wanted more. So with a little research I found this device. I use it with my Samsung Galaxy Fold 6. It uses Samsung's DEX program, which supposedly allows you to use your phone like a laptop. So I got a wireless keyboard and brought it out to my car. So, starting with the DEX experience, I was happy that it works great. You can use your phone as a track pad, which is far superior to the built-in touchscreen functionality on the car screen. Netflix and other streaming apps worked fine, making the device worth purchasing for that reason alone. I did try to use Word and my wireless keyboard to edit documents, but found that there was too much lag to make it worthwhile. When you first connect (I e., when turning the car on), you have to choose between Android Auto and DEX. Android Auto is the default. I have found that occasionally it doesn't load, but usually it does. The Android Auto seems to work as well as the hardwired version. In Dex mode, you can open multiple windows with different apps. I always like to make use of as many capabilities as my devices have and am happy that I can use most of the features of my infotainment system and my Samsung when I am in my car.
