BakBlade 3.0 Stealth Back Shaver for Men Long Handle Edition With Dual-Grip

My wife purchased this for me after I went to massage therapy and we tried cupping which didn’t go well due to the hair being pulled. It comes set up and ready to use. You can use it in the shower with a gel or cream or dry. I figured I would try using it dry and see how well it does. It did a really good job. Took a few minutes to get the right technique, but once it figured it out it was a piece of cake. Did my back, shoulders and upper arms in about 10 minutes. About half the time I was trying different ways of holding it and best direction to get the best cut. Clean up was supper simple. Well worth the money.

I was very pleasantly surprised by how well this back shaver worked. I was skeptical for a long time on how well it would work to cut my back hair, especially the longer hairs or when it was thicker. I felt like it would need to be first trimmed by an electric razor to make the hairs shorter before it would be effective, so while I had contemplated purchasing other versions of the BakBlade in the past, I always wound up going with a different item, most recently the Mangroomer which I used for years but recently broke, so I decided to give this a try. Even with hair that was longer and thicker as my back had not been shaved in quite a while, it cut very easily. I had been worried about the blades against my skin and getting the right amount of pressure and not cutting up or irritating my skin too much, and while it takes some getting used to it is no more irritating than the Mangroomer or any other option out there and this gets a much closer shave. Highly recommend for shaving your back on your own, better than any other item on the market at the moment. My only criticism is that when you fully extend the handle it feels a bit weak/flimsly so wish it was a bit sturdier in construction but it was probably made that way to keep weight (and costs) down.

I am giving this back shaver 4 stars because it is effective but not perfect. Positive: Shaves you back fast. Negative 1: I noticed rust on the blades after the 3rd use. Negative 2: the graurds work for the most part but you can get little nicks and cuts. Be mindful and cautious when using.

Trust me, just buy it. Works great! The blades are about three times longer than a normal razor and the bakblade razors don’t have the issue of getting clogged with hair like a normal razor would. My first use was dry, no cuts, no irritation, just a smooth clean back. Don’t let the price turn you off. Must have. 10 out of 10.

I own the 2.0 version, which works perfectly and has given me zero issues. However, while looking for replacement blades, I stumbled upon this newer version. I didn’t care about the back scrubber attachment, but the 3-blade design was intriguing and the longer extension handle seemed like a genuine upgrade, so I ordered it. When it arrived, I immediately noticed a major flaw: blade removal. While swapping the two blades on the 2.0 is incredibly easy, extracting the three blades on this new model was nearly impossible. I tried repeatedly but could only get the bottom blade out. The more I struggled, the tighter they seemed stuck. Predictably, my hand slipped and I ended up cutting my thumb. Maybe I just received a defective unit, but I returned it immediately. I still highly recommend the 2.0, but for me, this new version was a total failure.

This is an AWESOME!!!! product I'm way beyond satisfied of my purchase, it handles so smooth, so easy to operate , it leaves all my entire back clean without hair , I was struggling asking for help to my girl to remove my back hair but now this is a game changer , whoever invented this product is a genius and maybe a hairy guy lol , I love it it worth every dollar y I highly recommend it!!!

Well designed back shaver with a long reach. I have used this shaver a couple of times - once by just applying water on my back before shaving and the second time while in the shower. This razor blade works best when your back is wet as there is less risk of nicks or cuts from dragging it on dry skin. In both cases, it shaved cleanly with no cuts at all - the first time around, I think I went over the same spot several times, resulting in a bit of razor burn in that spot. The second time around, I shaved a particular area just once or at the most twice and it was perfect. It shaves closer than the mangroomer (I have the older version and it is nearing the end of it's life after 10 years of use), and the reach is much better because of the longer handle. Am not sure how long each blade will last - the comments seem to indicate about 5 uses before one has to replace the blades. I'll probably go back and forth between this one and a new mangroomer only because the latter is faster to use. I'm very happy with this product.

I’m really on the fence with this BakBlade? I mean, if you’re looking for a device that will remove your skin tags, you’ve come to the right place. I’ve been using (for years) the Man Groomer battery operated shaver. I’ve owned 2 of them. The first one had replaceable batteries, the second, rechargeable. Eventually the razor in the man groomer would go bad. I purchased a replacement razor and it wouldn’t shave hair. I got a refund and decided to try the BakBlade. I went for the highest model, extra long, with the brush on the back end. The brush is not needed, (for me) as I use my own back brush to wash myself. So I use soap with my own back brush, and then start shaving. This thing shaves hair effortlessly BUT, BE CAREFUL! It’s sharp and can easily cut you, and will take off any exposed skin tags….. which I kinda like! Going from the man groomer to the BakBlade is a learning experience. With the man groomer, I did it dry, (duh!) it’s battery powered, and not worry about getting aggressive, but it will also scratch you. I used the BakBlade in the shower wet. I have yet to use it dry, which brings up another issue. The man groomer, I used in the open bathroom, then vacuumed the floor. The BakBlade, I used in the confines of my shower, (30”x60”), which makes it a little different. Again, I have yet to try it dry, in my open bathroom, which brings up another thought. Is it really dry shaving? When you basically need to rinse it after each stroke? To be continued……..

The back side doubles as a back scrubber, soup it up and you’re lather the back good. Shaving cream too, will not be disappointed. I’m not flexible at all and I’m able to get my whole back

I have a love hate relationship with this thing! It saves me the shame of having another human shave my back. It reaches every area, is sharp, effective, and easy to clear the hair out of. But it’s disorienting af to get all areas while contorting like a Romanian floor gymnast, semi-naked in your bathroom! Every time I’ve used it I’ve had to take an over the shoulder kaleidoscopic mirror selfie to check for coverage, and there’s always patches missed. I always get there in the end, but inevitably decapitate a persistent skin tag and have to wear a plaster for a few days. Getting that on is even harder. The product itself seems expensive, but it is worth the money. The quality is good, the blades are sharp and well protected, the pivot is really helpful, and you’re essentially paying for the ability to self-help. That’s huge. The back scratcher pad thingy seems a bit pointless, but the wee cleaning brush inside is good, and the covers for the blades help. I don’t recommend using it on the tops of your shoulders as the bumpiness mixed with the wide blades usually leads to cuts. Overall, a great thing to have, a monthly dry shave ritual that works, but I never look forward to, and for me, a bloody mess with that masochistic skin tag.
