These folks just continue to put out the good stuff, for the money. This little thing is a gem and a half! The clip, alone, is worth it! I carry this around with me, everywhere! I have recorded interviews, meetings, lectures, and a great deal more. Right now, I am serving as our church secretary; so this little thing is what I use to record all of our after-church meetings! I am legally deaf, so the fact that this thing picks up well is excellent, for my needs. Simple operation is a must for a blind people, and you get it, with this little recorder. I gladly give this one a 5-star review, and I would certainly rate this company higher, if I could.

If I could give this more than 5 stars, I would. I've only used it once so far, and it was worth every penny. I don't know how much placement matters, but I had put mine in the mesh outer pocket of a backpack. It looks just like a thumb drive (well, it is a thumb drive, too) and has no distinguishing marks to imply that it could be recording; it's amazingly stealthy. The audio is clear, and the recording went on for hours. A+ great product.Pros:1) It's all black, so even the power button blends in enough that you can't tell it's there unless you're up close2) The cap pops off just like a normal USB drive; if you didn't see the power button you'd never know it was anything else3) The light for recording comes on just long enough for you to know it's recording, and then goes dark while it continues to record4) It's small and the logo on the side has no indication that it's anything special5) Although I didn't test its durability, it seemed like pretty strong plastic and not fragile at allCons:1) You have to switch it off before plugging it in as a USB drive (per the manual, I didn't test this.) - This makes sense, since you're reading the files it would be trying to write if it were still on, but it'd be nice if there was a separate space so that you could have it plugged into your computer looking ever-so innocent as it records.2) It creates one giant .wav file for the duration it's turned on (starting a new one after it's turned off and back on again.) - Again, this makes sense, but it'd be extra cool if it recording things in some sort of interval to keep the file sizes down. Maybe an hour at a time.3) So, I guess there's not really any cons I can think of; just features I'd like to see.4) Oh, I thought of one. Make sure it's legal in your state to record conversations. Many states are two-party consent states, meaning everyone in the conversation has to know it's being recorded, otherwise it's illegal. In one-party states, only you need to know it's recording if you're part of the conversation. This is relevant because if you're intending to use this against someone in a legal setting, it will get you into a heap of trouble. (Or if they find out you even recorded something, you could be in trouble.)

This thing is great. I use it as backup audio for my job. It takes just as clear recordings as my regular form does. I love that it makes wav files. It lasts through about four jobs of a few hours each before I have to charge it and it charges super fast. It's also super discreet. The only thing I don't like is that if the battery dies, I have to reset the date and time. I had no idea I had to do that and had a hard time finding a file because of it, but that really wasn't that big of a deal. It was worth the money for what I need it for.

I was really impressed with the first recorder that I purchased last year, and this one is my third. I have situations where I need to record information, and I know that I can count on this little gem hands-down. I have also given one of these recorders as a gift, and it works in every application! Downloading the info -- I play mine through Windows Media and have also backed it up on thumb drives, and everything that I need to hear is there -- and very clear. Thank you for a quality product!

Wow!! This recorder is absolutely amazing. I really enjoy the duration of the recorder and the extremely clear recording. I do have a recording software on my iPhone, but this unit is so much better and so easy to use and it captures all my important meetings. I use it to make sure I got everything down and if I wanted to go back at some point in the meeting, now I can with clarity. It also makes a great mp3 player but I use it mostly for recording my meetings. I just cant say enough how much I love this little unit.

Been using it for about 4 months now. I use it fairly consistently about 3 to 4 days a week for 5 hours each day to record my interactions at work. The audio quality is good, but then battery is quickly losing its max charge capacity. It used to record up to 7 hours on one charge, now it barely records for two hours on a full charge before dying. It was good while it lasted, but for the price I would have expected a little more longevity from the battery.

Works great and is very clear. Can work from a distance. Holds more than I have needed. Battery last long. No indication of how much battery life is left or used. Easy to loose cap.

I bought this recorder to record all the training sessions that I took with my dog Teddy. Because we were too busy to write down any type of notes, and it was impossible to use my phone because that was way too bulky and touchy (I did attempt that once and lost 45 minutes of the first class). I just strapped this recorder onto my right wrist with an old watch and turned it on and away I went! But I had to ensure that I had no clothes covering the microphone so that I could catch the instructor's voice clearly. Because I was able to just plug this into the computer and save it to my hard drive, I took the correct notes and was able to teach Teddy (and myself for that matter) the correct ways of doing every step and I did not have to worry about missing any of his commands and I could focus more on what I was doing in class with Teddy. I highly recommended this product for use in his classes, too! So lightweight and easy to use. Just turn it on and let it do all the work. I don't think that I would have gone through with all 10 classes if it weren't for this handy little device. Now I have a sweet little dog that obeys all my commands and everyone just loves him now!

I bought this as I wanted long record times for files where I wouldn't have to go back to the PC several times to delete unwanted recordings for a couple of hours. I had this sat in the box for a while and used it for a month and now it won't charge and switch on, I've tried resetting it with the pin, using different cables, different PCs and different USB ports etc and nothing, the device is dead. Unreliable and what sort of USB recording device requires a cable to charge up ? very inconvenient, also no 'hook' or loop on the top which allows it to hang around the neck or wrist. Absolute rubbish, I reckon it's sub par stuff from China, repackaged, re-branded (all with a nice box etc) and sold for double or more what the consumer should be paying for it. I'm glad I only ordered 1 for a trial. AVOID.

Perfect for my needs, small discreet and good voice detection and recording, but the clip that holds on shirt pockets is not tight, I am afraid will lose it one day it easily drops from short pockets. Another issue I encountered when recording voice along with other noses you will get best result from the voice but the rest will be humming garbled undistinguishable noise. I bought this recorder for my sister, but the aTTo Digital Mini Voice Recorder | Capacity 8 GB -141 Hours | Effective Battery Life of 20 Hours for myself. I wished afterwards I had bought another one of these. The aTTo had no clip to attach it to books or clothing, the microphone is on the side so holding meant the mic was covered. the life of the this one is 90 Hrs, the more expensive aTTo life is 20 Hrs. No brainer really, and the wife's not impressed with me, but I bought the other on an Amazon recommendation of 5*
