Only Time will tell
I was recommended this product which has worked for my neighbour for almost 20 years! However I have just applied this to a small piece of flat roof that has given problems one way or another for several years. With multiple small cracks standard tar products only seem to last a few months whereas Roofix is laden with a mass of fine fibre which seems to bridge every flaw yet it is easy to apply.Only time will tell but I have a good feeling about this product

Does exactly what it says on the tin
Our flat alcove roof was leaking bad. Tried everything to fix it and nothing worked until we bought this!Within three good coats of it we had no more leaks. Even torrential rain can’t touch it!! Fabulous fix. Highly recommend!!

The product itself is easy to use
The seller who provides this Roofix 20/10 is remarkably efficient. The product itself is easy to use, if a bit messy (so use gloves), and is accompanied by a decent instruction and advice leaflet. I had a small roof leak which, with hindsight, had been present for some time and which eventually brought part of a ceiling down during a period of heavy rain. I used a litre of Roofix initially on the area immediately over the wet area without any success but didn't think the Roofix was to blame. I ordered a further 2.5 litres and changed my approach - instead of concentrating on the area above the wet patch I went along the flat dormer roof looking for any areas that looked suspect. I used a brush to apply the paint which doesn't put on as thick a layer as would a squeegee but it is acceptable to apply a second coat according to the instructions, especially where the covering might 'slump'. The Roofix is like a thick paint and of course contains Draylon fibres which help to bridge cracks. My change of approach appears to have worked, touch wood!, and despite several periods of heavy rain, my leak seems to be cured. One litre of Roofix covers a square metre on average and, in my case that represents two feet of roof so I propose working my way along until the whole dormer is covered just in case. The resultant covering is not so good for walking on - the instructions do recommend limited 'foot traffic' and any blisters which haven't been punctured before application will stick to your feet so be warned but the paint is easy to use and, up to now, very effective. My leak had penetrated the top layer of felt several feet away from the resultant wet ceiling and had then run along the underlayer until it reached the end of the roof where it had 'puddled', then built up and run sideways. The location of the wet patch was therefore very misleading so I hope anyone with a similar leak finds this information useful. But careful use of Roofix seems to have sorted it despite continuous bad weather meaning that the application was made on a very hastily dried surface.

Fantastic product. Can’t say any more than tgat
My flat roof was in a state and needed covering. I bought 4 x 5ltr of a slightly cheaper product and was great for a week but then we got quite a bit of rain and it’s never happens before but the rain washed 90% of it away. Decided to try this and OMG it’s brilliant. Since putting it on the roof we have had at least 10 days with rain including heavy rain and it’s still holding. If as it says in the tin it will last for 10 years the money well spent
