Yellowstone Folding Camp Bed

I'm sure it's great if you can put it together - sadly, between the two of us, neither my partner nor I could manage it, and we're not exactly weak or decrepid! Utterly impossible to get the final support in place, even with both of us putting our combined weight into pulling it. So it's going back, which is aggro I could really do without just now, and now I need to find a replacement asap... disappointed, as I paid extra for quick delivery.

So far so good. Used it once now for several nights. Quick and easy to assemble taking less than a couple of minutes. Its fairly light but sturdy and doesn't take up a lot of space when packed away.

Really comfy once you figure out how to lay on it, lightly cradles you in the centre so you don't worry about rolling off, easy to set up and take down and feels very sturdy, even though I'm pushing 120kg. Word of warning, it is fairly heavy if you need to carry it a long way by hand, but if you can strap it to your back it's barely noticeable.

Very comfortable - especially when used with a self inflating mattress - used while camping and found them very comfortable

Not very impressed with this, you need to be strong to slip the stretcher bars in place. Once up it wobbles about quite a bit when laid on it, when mine came it was just wrapped in flimsy bin liners, so was they any wonder the bag it goes in when not in use was ripped. But the seller replaced this after sending two emails

Faulty design. Metal legs make small lacerations in material when folding and storing it. Only used a couple of times before small lacerations resulted in the bed canvas tearing completely and becoming inoperable.

This is a real shame as the bed is very light and very sturdy. But putting it together is a nightmare. It requires real strenght to fit the ends and on second try, the pin broke. Which kind of made the bed useless as the pin is what holds the bed in place and stretches the material across. Its a real shame. Apart from the design, it was a brilliant bed.

This is a sturdy, very stable camp / occasional bed. Packs down small, but real easy to put up. Good quality materials and fittings. Looks as though it will be durable. It's not designed to take trekking, as it too heavy, but for glamping, or camping when you're lugging your kit in a car, this is a perfect camp bed. Great for occasional use as a spare bed too. Overall... good value for money. Don't hesitate
